Why you need altcoins?

if for my own altcoin, I use it for exchange, and get it from bounty and airdrop, and already many people, who are successful at altcoin, why don't we.

I think by having altcoin, it can help us to gain more bitcoin and we can sell that bitcoin when the price increase. With so many altcoins, we can have a chance to pick one or two coins as our investment in a long time, and we can have a short-term investment which we can sell when the altcoin price increase too.

Altcoin can help us make transaction costs cheaper and faster. I prefer Altcoin than Bitcoin because the price is still low.
