A term I come accross quite often, and usually describe cryptocurrencies of failed projects, scams or simply with no future.

These are the worst kind of investment because, they are not going to go anywhere, no moon no KFC.
However, a lot of pump groups manipulate the price of the shitcoins, just to dump them after people start buying in.

I don't know what shitcoins are you talking about. Were you scammed? Always be careful when choosing the right coin. Do your research first. For ICOs, forums like this can be a good source. Also, you can find a good one on social media (Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook groups, Reddit). Youtube influencers also review good ICOs and you can also check ICO listing sites. they are really dangerous if you don`t have insider updates.
One of my friends is good friends with some twitter `experts` with more than 20k followers. As far as he told me these guys create groups to shill shitcoins.
They buy a week earlier than shill their followers and dump the coin to them.
Really really dangerous.

well I think shitcoins are everywhere and needs to dispose of everyday.  its a dangerous gamble and need to  be  addressed right away.

You are just talking about currencies with low market cap, which does not always determine coin as shitcoin. Shitcoin is a coin which copied entirely code of another coin and presents it as it owns. There is also the team and roadmap, nowadays 90% of cryptocurrency are made to make $$$ not real usage or technology. Funny thing is that Dogecoin coin in top 50 can easily be described as shitcoin, no plans for future no team just strong community, and yet coin has more tx/s than "great" BCH.

You can speak out the shit because of shitcoin. Meanwhile it is active but just a few minutes it will gonna dump and dump so dump. Then the manipulator leave the project because they have big profit already. Irritating and annoying struggles.

Yes you are right, shitcoins is commonly used in cryptocurrency and crypto community. They usually used these term to define coins that have no future value or undervalued coins. I guess there is lot of shitcoins these recent days especially new ICO’s.

So the developer of Dogecoin says that the coin was created to show people that they have false values. And as it turned out later, they are very profitable to use for transferring funds between exchanges

After being scammed, the next painful thing in crypto is investing in shitcoins. You will buy at the time the coin is really doing well, hoping it will continue to rise but for you to realize it will never go up again
