What Is This Telegram Group?

have you been dragged to different telegram groups you have never even heard about?

Me? Yes, my account have been all over the place before. This happened because some people I do not even know kept adding me on different telegram groups for some referral campaign. This is not an acceptable practice for me but many still do it unfortunately.

So is there anything that can be done about this? Yes, there is. If in case you still do not know, you can set the settings of your telegram account. It's quite simple, go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Under Privacy, click "Groups" then choose who can add you.

Great info mate, I remember having this issue myself and having the change that setting. I remember ignoring airdrops that would you to do this too

Thanks for this thread it helps those who doesn't care of their telegram sitting to be aware once they read this topic. It is helpful to disabled the one who wants to add you unknowingly not to do it so.

Those days when I had to leave all the groups I got dragged into were really annoying. I even had to ask google how to prevent others from dragging me. Just an addition, I think this only works on telegram desktop and mobile apps. The web version does not have this function.

Yes, referral links are often found in the telegram, but this does not mean that you have to click and register on them, because this is everyone’s case

We don't need a negatively attitude to the telegram, there people do a lot of useful things for us by exposing actual information, signals, strategies, etc.

I do not see anything negative in the post about telegram. The OP merely said that adding people in other telegram groups without their consent is not an acceptable practice.

Thanks Zed for the useful tip, because I'm very tired to be added to many groups, specially when I started some bounty campaign and bounty managers disclosed spreadsheets including my and other Telegram accounts.
