MyEtherWallet itself is very secured because it has no record of being breached directly into the accounts of a user. Hackers or fraudsters only designer a prototype of it which they use to lure MEW wallet holders to enter their private keys or login details. Always be careful and watch the URL before accessing. I have personally witnessed one fake link claiming to be MEW. It came as www.myethenwallet.com. Let's all be vigilant and protect our login details.

Very much regretted a lot of Pishing scattered and makes us dizzy to see it.
This is what makes a negative image on cryptocurrency, if there is always a Scammer and Pishing, don't expect the cryptocurrency to rise in price.

you're right, we have to be careful when we want to enter a private key, besides the MEW website I also see a lot of phishing exchange sites nowadays, it might be safer to use metamask.

I will never vouch for any thing that has to do with security especially online, because it can be hacked at anytime.

I prefer to use a cold wallet like a hardware wallet, but still I need to be vigilant because we can lose assets if we eliminate the keys we have in each wallet address.

There so many phishing site of mew and many make mistake to use them and later couldn't see their token anymore but I will advice to always use Metamask with it for strong safety.

Right. The myetherwallet wallet is safe to use. Of the many hacking cases that exist they cloned their original web to get their private key, then hacking occurred as a result of most smart contracts copying past from the previous project, where the main transaction had gaps and was vulnerable to hacking.

It's not that I do trust the security of MEW but I do not transact using the wallet alone, I always access it using other tools such as Metamask.

I agree with you one must be always careful while opening MEW. Bookmark the genuine MEW website and always open from that bookmark so that you can not be redirect to the wrong website and apart from this do not click on phising site or spam emails. You can not be hacked until and unless you did mistake.
