Bosch and YOTA launched a new Ios device
« on: November 14, 2018, 06:30:43 AM »

Electronics manufacturer Bosch is collaborating with IOTA, integrating your new online store with decentralized data marketplace Data Marketplace IOTA.

The IOTA Marketplace is a decentralized data marketplace where parties can buy or sell access to active data streams using MAM (Masked Authenticated Messaging).

According to a Bosch blog post:

MAM is a second-level data transfer Protocol that allows peer-to-peer data transmission over an encrypted channel. Data subscribers can thus trust the source and integrity of the data, even if the identity of the source is unknown.

The new Bosch - Bosch XDK is described as a" programmable sensor device that integrates with the Internet platform, " which also functions as a network node. It is reported that the device combines various sensors, data storage and networking technologies so that users with no programming skills can collect data in real time and sell them on the iota data marketplace.

As noted by Bosch and it was not previously open source available for development to connect Bosch XDK and IOTA "Tangle". Tangle differs from blockchain in that it does not use "blocks" or mining, but rather is built on a directed acyclic graph (DAG) - a topologically ordered system in which different types of transactions are executed simultaneously in different chains of the network.

Therefore, along with the XDK device, the "XDK2MAM" #DevelopmentTeam  provided open source code to the IOTA community to facilitate interaction between the hardware and Tangle.

As reported in late August, the Japanese conglomerate Intel Fujitsu announced the launch of an IOTA-based POC consensus algorithm for audit processes. It is reported that the company aims to use the Protocol IOTA as the "established media" for auditing routes in "industrial manufacturing environments and supply chains".

In June, iota and Volkswagen demonstrated a PoC that uses the iota's Tangle system for Autonomous cars, allowing Volkswagen to use the Tangle to transmit software updates "over the air" as part of the new Connected Car systems.

Last week, the IOTA Foundation announced that it will integrate the iota token (MIOTA) with Ledger hardware wallets. During printing, the MIOTA is trading at $ 0.49, which is 1.25 percent less than 24 hours ago.
