What If Bitcoin Price Goes Below $5,000? What will Happen to Cryptocurrency?

People are panincking which is normal in business as everyone would entertain any loss, so I wonder what will happen to cryptocurrency if the price go below $5k.

Nothing special happens and can not happen. As long as Bitcoin has a high level of capitalization, it will exercise price dominance over other types of cryptocurrency. Bitcoin will fall in price, and other cryptocurrencies will fall. Bitcoin will grow in price, the rest of the cryptocurrency will grow in price. However, for coins and tokens it is important to develop their projects, then the cryptocurrency will develop regardless of the price.

Many people believe it will fall to 3k and it will be a disaster. Even those who kept their money and waited for the better will withdraw their money as it will lose any sense. Moreover there will be much less investments which will affect all the market. Many altcoins that have small value will simply disappear.

Nothing bad will happen, just a chain of disappointed investors who will come out of the crypto currency can be pulled, which will negatively affect the entire market. However, this may be just speculation and the rate will quickly return back to 6500.

The price may be even lower than 5,000 dollars. It all depends on all of us. If all people panic, then the market will continue to fall. You need to understand that this situation has happened many times. just wait

In such a scenario, now everything is possible, probably its price will decrease more. And then too many altcoins will disappear. But because prices are gonna decrease too much, new investors will enter the market and then prices will again rise. Remember supply-demand curve. At the end number of projects at CMC will reduce and we will not see more than 2500 projects anymore. And this is a good thing I guess. Not for their investors, but for the market.

I guess I really hope that doesn't happen, but it's possible. But I think 5K might represent an absolute bottoming out of the market, so hopefully that'll get people to hop back into crypto.

when the price of bitcoin falls to a price as cheap as it seems it will make traders more depressed and many will lose because the fall in the price of bitcoin will have an impact on other cryptocurrency.

I do not want to see that happening but it could bring something good in the long run. It is going to be like "Survival Of The Fittest"
Only projects with solid fundamentals and strong community support will survive if the market crash even further. Weak projects that has a negative impact on the market as a whole will wither.

5000 dollars is the rate nothing will happen few persons who are curious to sell the BTC at the rise of the prices will be disappointed for sometime but not for long as BTC will stay for ever and popularity will remain the same.

You want the price of bitcoin to always go up, then you will sell. When you don't have bitcoin you want low prices. Everyone wants the same thing, but what do you do to keep the bitcoin up? Many people hold back to keep the value of bitcoin, but when the FUD trader prices will be destroyed. So, stop making meaningless speculation. Even when the price is below $5,000 or $3000 don't panic, because when many people panic, the one who benefits is the whales.

Personally, I think nothing more than the ordinary will happen should BTC slip below $5000. Many have been here through the highs, they'll sure be here through the lows. I only feel sorry for those who have been forced to hodl since buying the ATH of $20k. I know someone who bought at $14,000, and he's still breathing. So again, life will go should it go below $5k
