I have seen this method in several projects, it is really convenient but not for everyone, because some people just do not have a video camera

I don't support the idea to process KYC verification with video call. Although it is not impossible to apply, but it is not a simple way for verification. Not all people can do it, so it just makes people harder to do KYC verification.

I have every heard about KYC process by video call verification or taking picture directly when sending the KYC document. This is so private I think. If we don't get the exact big reward, I don't think to fulfill this requirement.

No I am not agree abou that.  Video call for KYC verifications. I think KYC only ID,  Paspot etc,  not video call.

I think the video call for KYC verification will not work because it clearly requires large fees and this participant is not only in one country. And what applications should be used, of course, this will also be a long consideration. But I also give appreciation because it includes a good idea.

Video call is more complicated than just submitting your information with clear image.
For me video call is more expensive than the normal process.
Anyway, it is interesting idea.

I don't think it is the best way but it can be the worst way of KYC process. This video can be used in illegal purposes. So stay away of video KYC before facing any problem.

It is very possible. I ever did it but it is for exchange KYC procedure. If it is applied for bounty participants, it is too complicated. There are too many participants that a team project needs to serve for KYC procedure. For me, it is not suitable to be applied on bounties.

the idea is pretty good, I think it's better for VC KYC than sending documents,  but what is how many days for manger to verify every mamber, very ineffective I think

I went through such a KYC, and I liked the fact that you do not need to upload your documents anywhere and everything happens quickly and you don’t need to re-send your photos if the quality is bad!

I agree if you use videos for Kyc. our data doesn't need to be given. and for applications, it's better to use WhatsApp or Skype.

maybe that's the best way to avoid fraud. by using a video call, there is nothing to be afraid of. just accept the video call and answer. no need to wait for our kyc to be accepted or not.

I've heard that some of the projects are doing this. But I don't think it looks secure. Actually, I don't think KYC looks secure at first. Let's wait and see what will SEC do about this.

Indeed. Why we must make complicated KYC procedure. Selfie KYC is only for exchange members or investors. It is no need for the bounty program. I just feel this kind of KYC is highly possible to misuse by the team members or bounty managers. You know, there are many cases of selling documents currently.
