The one advantage I can see from video based KYC is that the copy of the documents are less likely to be sold without the selfie included, if the selfie is instead included in the video. Although I guess this could be a screenshot also. It seems unrealistic that ICOs/bounties would use video call as it's too time consuming and therefore as another member said it's not convenient, but I know this form of KYC is used for private sales and the like.

I don't agree with that. Too complicated. It's better to use photos of yourself. And in my opinion, the Bounty Team or Bounty Manager will find it difficult to call one by one of the bounty participants. And that will take a lot of time.

I still don't believe it, why we must do KYC process with "video call". I think it doesn't make sense, especially for bounty hunters. I rarely see a bounty procedure like what OP stated above. It is not efficient and should be avoided by many people.

Probably Skype. But why do such video kyc? If there is like this, then no need to send vital info as it is very conservative on the part of the bounty hunters. Maybe if the reward of the participant is too high maybe they can impose this since he will receive huge amount.

I agree this is done. To reduce cheating in gifts. No need for many participants in the spreadsheet. And our income doesn't decrease much.

Yes it's possible and I think that's the best kyc verification process at the moment due to the fact that people abuse the normal kyc process being used. I have read about how many  submitts fake document for kycs

I agree with your opinion. Now, in any case, this is not the time for such experiments in ICO projects. I am sure that if the ICO team enters a video call for their KYC, it simply will not collect the necessary funds. I agree, it sometimes doesn't good if the project turns to scam. Video KYC potentially harms investors and bounty hunters if their data are sent to scam projects. I have already read some cases about selling KYC data of ICO participants.

Why not? I ever did it to fulfill the KYC process after submitting my document. yeah, this is one of the processes that is very hard to do. However, because the result or reward is big enough, I made it, why not? As long as it is trusted, worthy, and also safe, video call for KYC doesn't matter for me.

It is unlikely for a ICO video call project to pass a KYC check is a good idea. Video call even technically not everyone can make. Now many ICO teams are refusing to carry out KYC checks only in order to attract both investors and bounty hunters. If they enter a video call, I think that such a project will not have the chance to collect even the minimum amount of funds. In any case, I do not intend to participate in the campaigns of the ICO bounty, if there will be a video call for KYC verification.
