The best explanation is enough people believed that we have to go to 5000 before the bear market ends. There were many professional traders saying this for months and pointing 4800 as the bottom. I guess enough people is following them and deciding when and how to trade based on other people's analysis. Not a single big thing has happened, it's only traders doing their thing.

Bitcoin and other cryptp controlled by some big guy. I think someone bought huge bitcoin and the market capital goes down and the price goes down.In another case, the number of investors decrease which results in bitcoin price fall.

many investors continue to hold back from the market without doing much activity, on the other hand news about the bitcoin family fork goes through an internal conflict that causes prices to fall further

I think that only the panic in their coin-coin sellers is so that this makes the market decline because the market continues to decline so that there is panic in selling this will add to the lower prices of the market so that this situation is sure to take advantage

There is much speculation about the possible reasons for the sell-off - and as almost always, there is no clear cause.
Rather, a mix of different factors could have accelerated the sale.
Very controversial hard-fork at Bitcoin Cash causes a lot of uncertainty. At least the early crash at Bitcoin Cash makes this thesis seem quite plausible.
However, it is unlikely that an announced hard-fork can pull the entire market down. What is unusual is the fact that the sell-off on the crypto market coincided with the yield collapse in the US bond market. Most likely, there were also many stops near the October low at Bitcoin

The reason for the sudden price crash was not immediately obvious, though some analysts have said panic selling could contribute to bitcoin's fall in value.Bitcoin hit a one-month high on Tuesday, leading some experts to suggest that more price gains can be expected.
