There is a chaos nowadays at crypto market  because of the bitcoin cash hard fork  ,  in general the miners understand the danger that can be formed and the reason by simple way  when there is a hard fork of a cryptocurrency , the network &  mining operations of this cryptocurrency becomes weak   and may be susceptible to be attacked ... If something negative happen to the the network , it will reflect negatively on the cryptocurrency market as a whole, fear of something bad might be one of the reasons for the dump in the market

I  think  that means your   money are safe  there FOR NOW and it depends on  regulations and restrictions which will be applied to  Upbit. There will be a lot of people from  financial  institutions (Those that crypto needs right now).
