Can we survive without Bitcoin?
« on: November 17, 2018, 10:09:09 AM »
Many of us may have read that 2018 will be game over for bitcoin. Every now and then have seen that every Tom, Dick & Harry Coin claims that their blockchain technology is better than bitcoin and they will solve the real issue with bitcoin network but in reality no one is even close to that.
Is there a alternate to bitcoin to replace it?
Can this crypto economy survive without bitcoin?

I think we need decentralization and independent money. Even if BTC ends up disappearing one day it has shown us what to do. That we can have independent money and that the governments and banks hate this idea of us handling our money without their help and control.
Obviously we'll be able to survive without it but there will be new ideas and projects and ultimately we will win. The need to be independent and self sustained is among basic human instincts. Now that we know it's possible we'll make it our goal. You'll see.

As we can see for the past decades, there is no bitcoin at that time and the financial aspect of the world has been doing great. And also when bitcoin got introduced to other countries, the fiat currencies were also in good condition. Bitcoin is part of the growth of technology which can be civilized for the past years. But still when bitcoin disappears in the future, countries will still be financially stable. Bitcoin is just a digital currency which can be an alternative to investment and transaction of fees. Just like the previous years when we had no idea about it, but when bitcoin is gone, many people will be still worried about that but regarding on the financial world, it will still keeps going.

Crucially, the value of tokens on a private blokchain is not a market value but a conventional value aggred upon by the network participants: these tokens are in fact IOUs recognized only by the parties.

I think bitcoin can't be replaced by other altcoins because bitcoin in my opinion has become a benchmark for other altcoins so bitcoin is a very good coin in my opinion

Of course we can still survive without the help of Bitcoin. We can still say that because we can still look for stable jobs that will and may give us continuous income thru out the year and this will help us sustain our basic needs for our everyday life. Bitcoin or Cryptocurrency may only become a source of extra income if we have a stable job. Cryptocurrency may also become full time source of money if we can utilize its use properly.

Yes we can survive without bitcoin, but I guess all bitcoin users are sad without bitcoin. All are being hopefull that bitcoin is the key for everything specially for financial stability. Bitcoin always help people earn and sustain our daily needs. So as long bitcoin is still here have to double our time and make an extra effort to earn and be profitable. And always be hopeful that bitcoin will last up to the end so that more people are being benefited.

Of course, there are many alternatives to survive without Bitcoin. Crypto world can continue its existence with many promising altcoins. However, I believe 100% that Bitcoin will never disappear. It will have a big role to develop cryptocurrency till the future.

certainly it can, and that depends on how alcoin regulates, many other coins in alcoin are very popular with many people, it becomes more value to be able to stand without bitcoin, but must need full trust to be able to survive

Bitcoin won't come up to gave over scenario due to some whales that wouldn't allow bitcoin to crash or gone in crypto. Bitcoin is the source of altcoins price instant changes so difficult to cancelled.

At this stage, the Altcoins are quite capable of existing without Bitcoin. I even wonder how the price of cryptocurrency will change without the current price dominance of Bitcoin. Since there will no longer be cryptocurrencies with such a high level of capitalization, each coin and tokens will have a price that will not depend on any cryptocurrency, but only from the state of its own project. That is, some coins and tokens will grow in value, others will fall. It will be a real free market, not its ugly form, as it is now.

Yes, we can survive without Bitcoin but the technology behind the cryptocurrency will be in used for a long time to come. The blockchain technology is the next big thing after the invention of the internet. The blockchain can be used to do many great things that will affect all aspect of our lives positively. Bitcoin as a currency and form of investment is great and had open the opportunity to create other good crypto coins that had worked on its limitation
