With the ongoing blood shed of bitcoin price which is also affecting almost all the altcoins, I have come to the conclusion that 2017 was by far the best year for crypto. Do you support this?

In terms of bullish season, yes, 2017 was the best year of crypto and the decent year of crypto people who owned potential altcoins and sold them at the higher value. Now at 2018 we are still waiting of the best market change into moon.

For me yes it's but thanks to that last best year who taught me a lot of things now. I'm one of those people who got a chance to have a huge profit but I still keep holding until now. But all of those mistakes brings a lot of lessons to me.

I have to disagree based on annual gains. 2011 and 2013 were both 100x gains, 2017 was only 20x to be fair.
With year on year decreasing volitility, I imagine another bull-run would be around a 5-10x growth personally.

In the both year you quoted, I think crypto was still fairly new. So come there was an 100% profit from a relatively new and unknown venture? Please enlighten me.
