Well, everything will fold in time. Ripple is one of the good coin in the market. I would greatly recommend to invest to this coin. Are sure the rate 1:1 to the USD? I think it is the rate of Tether (USDT) against USD. By the way, Ripple can be suitable both for long term and short term. You shouldn't make it for the long term only. Ripple has good volatility and it rises easily. So, you can gain profits in short time.
