Will Ripple maintain its number 2 position?

Do you guys believe that Ripple will maintain its top two position that has the largest amount of capitalization on the coin
market cap? Feel free to share your answers and it is appreciated if you support your answer with an explanation.

If the market condition continues with no significant improvement, I believe the number 2 position on CMC will be defended by Ripple. Ethereum seems getting worse with the price only about $123. Its market cap is $12,802,248,555 and Ripple's market is $16,494,895,384. So, with the gap of their market caps, I think it won't change till the next year.

Yes, I agree that Ethereum is getting worse on maintaining its price and Ripple is showing its strength and its
capability of surviving this bearish market. The capitalization difference between Ripple and Ethereum is now
$3.6 billion dollars but Ethereum is showing strength in volume and its volume is 3x than Ripple.

The difference in the financial foundation circulating in the Ripple with Etheruem is around 3,000,000,000 USD.
Very much value and it took a long time for Ethereum to defeat Ripple in number 2.

I think the ripple in number two is only temporary, because I am sure that ethereum will not let the ripples last long in that number two position.

We'll see about that after this bearish market season when Bitcoin starts to recover every alternative cryptocurrency
will begin to recover too and the competition to rank number two of the highest capitalization will really begin.

Still Ripple maintaining second place in coinmarketcap , The bearish market situation Ripple strategy is very good although ethereum is the best coin than ripple so will Ripple maintain second place just short term period.

I think Ripple can do it, but next month we will have an upgrade of ETH blockchain and that update will boost ETH blockchain very much on increasing speed and more secure for other ERC projects to run on it. After this upgrade ETH quite a big opponent for Ripple

I'm not so sure because ethereum is preparing a strategy that is being designed by vitalic buterine to be used to improve ethereum performance to make it even better. because ripple and ethereum are still competing for the top two coinmarketcap positions

if market conditions continue like this, I'm sure the ripple will stay in 2nd place however, if the market experiences a very significant increase I am not sure if the ripple will continue to stay in 2nd place
