Will Ripple maintain its number 2 position?

I think it's very difficult because Ripple and ethereum both are fighting to second place in coinmarketcap infact many people are supporting ethereum technology although currently it dropped from second place but it will rise again .

Who knows about it, I believe Ripple will last long on second place if Ethereum is going to down more. I don't say it will last forever but I am sure it will be on second place for long time if there is no change on Ethereum. Ripple is one of the most favorite coins to buy now. More investors trust to Ripple because of its power to survive during bear market.

 Even those fellows, who were the biggest fans of Ripple, now are hesitating whether to hold the currency or exchange it (for Ethereum, at least). Ripple price can crash greatly at any time.

Ripple will find it difficult to maintain his position at number 2 CoinMArketCap because Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash ABC have always been rivals for Ripple.
Not to mention that from EOS and USDT who almost have the same money as Ripple, if only Ripple had an error, then I made sure the Ripple would go down to the top 10 CMC.

I don't think the RIAK number two in the cryptomarket will last long. Because ethereum will soon reclaim the position. ethereum is displaced by ripples because it's just a coincidence. The ethereum platform and the smart contract are too good to be replaced by other altcoins.

It will depend on the money invested in Ripple - the market cap indicates this sum and CMC gives its placesin rating according to it. Ethereum will be higher anyway - ETH is in great demand.

XRP can hardly maintain that position since ethereum will surely take it back. it could only happen if xrp will increase it value and be popular as ethereum.  The xrp price not even reach to $1 thats why its difficult for them to maintain the number 2 spot.

Now ethereum capitalization is more than 25 billion dollars, and ripple capitalization, in total more than 13 billion dollars. The difference is more than 12 billion dollars. In my opinion, ethereum in terms of capitalization has already gone very far, so as not to worry about this. Moreover, she has very good improvements ahead.
