Ranking is just a number you should not be too focus on it, low ranking coins is also able to do even better than higher ranking coins, i don't deny the fact that rank can be an indication to the coins you might be investing into but ranking is not all of it.

Out of xrp we still have xlm, that also a decent coin that had a lot of good features and a big community. ETH had advantage that are being saved by whale, so I think sooner ir later, ETH will take back the 2nd position

Don't you think that ethereum should pick up itself by increasing its market price before we should really care about the ranking? Ranking is not everything to a coin.

For me, Ethereum returning to no.2 will be the sign of a bull market on the horizen. XRP is a speculate investment that to me isn't as value as decentralized blockchains and peer-to-peer currencies. In the future it will be ETH that leads another "altcoin season", not XRP in my opinion.
