I am sure bear market can help in destroying bad-scam ICOs as investors are more careful on choosing the ICO that they wish to invest in. But at the same time bear markets brings in negative effects which is it will chase many crypto adopters away and blow out portfolio for majority of crypto adopter.

I agree with you. Bear market checks ICO. And only strong and promising projects with a working product survive. Therefore, the red market will show who is a crook and who is not.

For me the bear market have 2 types of effect the bad effects and good effects, The bad effect is when you really need money and your chance is on alts or btc but the prices of all is down and you can't withdraw your holds because of the price is drop, The good effect is for the investors cause it's time for them to buy while the prices is drop and they can save more either alts or btc.

I think,  bear market that therd are negative  effects.  I see the price is unpredictable and many investor waiting to spend their money.  They doubt..

The positive effects are there are many more companies showing their best power to set projects for better condition facing this bear market. Then, we can also gain promising coins at a low price and hold them until bullmarket.

A bear market can be really depressing, you start losing your hope to everything if you are only involved with the market. However it is a time to educate yourself, learn more, read more, know yourself more and be ready for the next bull season.
Yes I am sad that I am stuck in this bloody bear season but it changed me in positive ways. It taught me how to be patient.
