Hang Seng Bank inks cooperation deal with Tencent

Hang Seng Bank (0011) and Tencent Holdings (0700) formed a
strategic cooperation to develop or research on AI and blockchain
technology application, retail payment and online bank account
registration.

The local bank is happy to collaborate with the Chinese tech giant
to develop innovation and FinTech service and provide simple and
faster service to Hong Kong and mainland customers, a Hang Seng
spokesperson said.
