You don't need to listen to someone telling you hold and don't. Because, you did the investment so you should know when to hold and when to sell.

Of course, in such a market, you need to hold, but you also need to constantly check each of your tokens, namely, its price, because even in such a market, any token may start to grow rapidly and you will need to have time to sell it.

I think it's worth stopping when the risk of losing profits does not justify the chances of earning a few more percent.

Yes, it is true. must be able to know the good time to stop holding and do buy back if there is a good chance. this will reduce the risk of loss and make the asset recover.

Still depends purely on your expectations and hopes about a particular asset, because there are altcoins with a small capitalization from which x2 is stupid to expect, there is a minimum of X10.

I don't even know when you're going to stop holding the coins because you don't know when the position was opened.

I stopped hodl / hold when I suffered a big loss, for now I prefer to hodl / hold because the red market is back. don't forget to always smile and be happy. do positive things so that you don't make mistakes when selling or holding.

Sometimes you need not just to keep, but to know what exactly you need to keep in order to ultimately make a profit when the market begins to grow!

There's no special time to stop holding, it depends on  what you want. You hold till you think you have make enough profit then you an sell. You can hold for years, days or month

Newbies can easily be influenced from what they hear from speculations.. I've read several times people tend to advice to hold long term. because its easy for them to say JUST HOLD cause theyre not the one losing! For me its not all about holding, its being smart about your own invesment know when to stop and cut the losses.

What are your thoughts?
Great insights and thats true its very easy for them to advice to hold Because they are not losing something, like me I was holding some ethereum before last quarter of 2018, I was decide to hold Ethereum and Hoping it was return to $1200 dollars level in december I bought it at $400+ price But suddenly wrong things happen i was losing half of my Ethereum Investment and I sell at lossing point  only $200+ dollars... We must accept that this is the cryptocurrency reality. I was in crypto since 2015 But I was not focus on it I was only doing fulltime in crypto related investment since  Aug,2017. I think its not too late. Crypto still young and lots of good things to be happen soon!

For me, stopping the end is if I have felt enough to benefit. There is no specific time limit. Especially seeing the market conditions like now. We can last longer.

Thats right mistakes are made because most of us didnt  understand  what we are doing specially in cryptocurrency it must be rightfully executed everytime we are doing things involving crypto investments. to prevent further losses.

Prior to 2017 ,holding for long was the best thing to do for profit maximization .
It's unfortunate that the market conditions of 2018 has made a mess of the holding strategy.
Now holding is seen to be a bad idea because of the prevailing market condition ,so I agree with you that one ought to know when to pull out of an investment and when to go right back.

most people will hold their coins now. sometimes, a hodl is needed. but it must be at certain conditions. maybe they never felt how hard it was to hold a coin for a long time.

I occasionally trade at Binance and only see the numbers because my husband does not recommend that I trade cryptocurrency for longer.
My husband said "HODL when there is Hardfork because when the coin will Hardfork 1: 1 then the price of the coin will go up". Like the airdrop TRON for BitTorrent.
