Exodus Partners with Changelly for Fixed Rate Option

The Exodus multi-asset wallet and the Changelly service have partnered to offer a Fixed Rate option directly through the wallet. Exodus, which until recently relied on Shapeshift for most exchanges, has added to its portfolio of exchanges.

Changelly is still an account-free service, which offers liquidity to Exodus users. Swapping digital assets through Exodus relies on preliminary logistics, and in the past, some of the wallets and exchanges have been closed. Having liquidity and options to swap assets is highly important, especially given the volatility of digital assets.

“At Changelly we are at the same page with Exodus as it is of first importance for us to unite the best service along with the best users experience. This partnership is another prominent milestone on the way to cryptocurrency mass adoption.” – says Ilya Bere, CEO at Changelly. 

Meanwhile, the Exodus wallet has expanded its service with 24/7 customer support through Slack and email. The change comes as Exodus works to maintain its status as one of the most-used wallets, and the company is attempting to improve the adoption of digital assets through an intuitive interface.

A pairing with Changelly will improve the availability and liquidity of assets. For now, Exodus offers a growing selection of altcoins, but some of the assets have constraints both for a minimum and maximum exchanges.

Recently, Exodus warned of a fake wallet on the Android app store. After its recent rebranding, Exodus has not issued a mobile app yet:

Changelly has continued to expand its partnerships with exchanges, token projects and wallets. Recently, the company also updated its mobile app, and expanded its renewed website. Changelly has become an important point for purchasing some of the newly arrived digital assets that gained prominence in 2018, including TRON (TRX).

Both Exodus and Changelly limit the potential for anonymously swapping any significant sums into anonymous coins. Exodus does not offer Monero, and ZCash is the only option. Changelly has also removed Monero (XMR) from its offering, thus blocking the coin. With this move, the two swap services make it impossible for illegal miners to use them to cash out their XMR, or for anyone to attempt fund laundering through XMR trading. In the past, Changelly has blocked XMR transactions if there were concerns about money laundering.
