I also do not think crypto will be able to take over fiat in the future. I think the main reason why people will want crypto to take over fiat is because of the decentralization is crypto which is not fiat can do, the disadvantage of this might be before this intervention can happen government will step in to prevent this from happening and maybe we will see destroying of crypto.

It will be never be happen if crypto will replace fiat money and I believe it, I think both of this will be running based on their own function, Money as the currency of every government and crypto still as the virtual money, they are different and crypto can't become fiat money and vice versa, I hope will be more people will understand about this knowledge.
