Will Stellar Overtake Ripple?

I am a big stellar fan and I always thought that stellar should be among top coins and do not like people comparing any Crypto coin to Ripple because simply I do not think that Ripple belongs to Cryptocurrencies anyway Stellar should be compared to EOS, Ethereum, Waves, and Tron.

Unfortunately Stellar is now ranked number 9 in Coinmarketcap.
Surely this is very bad for Stellar when he wants to beat Ripple.

Now stellar is at eighth place and I think when the market will start to grow, stellar will be able to rise higher, but it will be the same with other altcoins, more demand for stellar is needed. So far, stellar can't catch up with ripple.

The two coins ripple and stellar are similar in many ways and the developer of Stellars Jed McCaleb was a co-founder of ripple. The Ripple is more centralized and is mostly used by banks. so most crypto enthusiasts do not care for the coin.  Stellar can overtake ripple because of its more decentralized and is inflationary. It has an inflation of  1% every year to the supply of Lumens coins, which is like real-world money

Not for now because of the real Ripple is very tough to fight by Stellar.
See how strong the Ripple can go up to number 2 CMC and Stellar still live far away in the number of dozens of CMCs.

Both coins are good, and have the same developer but I think they prioritize the Xrp over Xlm, but community decides which is better, I will pick XLM for its great performance the past year.

A good #DevelopmentTeam  is behind the stars.  They are very active and update their development regularly. Stellar and Ripple are both potential coins.  But I think, stars can overtake ripples.

Stellar is like Ripple, but a "small" one. Even the owners of Ripple get Stellar altcoins for free. It talks about much.So i think Rippli will be more popular then Stellar.

I have seen in some days now that Ripple is doing pretty well in its market cap, it is currently on the 4th position in coinmarketcap, So I want to ask if Stellar can overtake Ripple.

First of all friend, you are not correct on the state of Ripple (XRP), the coin had not occupied the 4th position at CMC for the past 1year or more, rather, on few occasions XRP has managed to be at the number 2 position over Ethereum.
As for stellar, i think that in the future XLM may overtake Ripple on marketcap, but it may take longer time to achieve.

stellar is a very good and very potential coin, and I strongly believe that the ripple price will go up even higher, but for stellar to exceed ripples in CMC it will be very difficult.

Stellar will not be able to beat Ripple because Ripple dominates the market centrally.
The centralized power is highly supported by investors because the centralized type must be held accountable like the conventional banks.
