An impostor application disguised as MyMonero recently
infiltrated the Google Play Store and was reported by the
Reddit r/Monero community .
The app, which users claimed to have a very small number ofime
downloads, impersonated as the official Monero application
and likely tried to phish users for private keys......

This is the second time this year that. an impostor cryptocurrency app has been discovered on Google Play store. Is it that the Play Store doesn't have a means of authenticating these apps before putting them up for download or they just don't care? Imagine the theft or damage that Monero impostor's app could have caused if it had not been discovered on time. Google needs to step up their game.
