I use MetaMask mostly because it easily connect to decentralized exchanges without any problems unlike other wallet.. Also MetaMask is highly protected, reliable and comes with friendly UI.

You and I and almost all the rest of crypto enthusiasm are using MEW in their struggle in the crypto space. Metamask is good but needs to register an account unlike MEW is just purely private key... I have different wallet in mew to secure my tokens. I want multiple wallet I don't want to store all my token in just one address.

Yes Metamask is best wallet for store ethereum it's more secure than MEW myetherwallet online wallet although I'm using both wallets because MEW myetherwallet is also compatible for all ERC20 TOKENS and very simple to use.

The best wallet is always a hardware wallet. Second are wallet that's not tied to the internet like offline wallets. Third is if you really have no choice is to choose myetherwallet I guess. Storing funds on an exchange is actually risky as exchanges are the number targets of hackers and scammers so be sure you don't get deceive easily.

I will vouch for metamask. Sometime ago i might not really recommend metamask before metamask go through upgrade but after numerous upgrade done it is quite a good wallet to use.
