VC Fred Wilson says Bull Run is Coming as Crypto Market will bottom out somewher

Many Crypto pundits are perplexed that their cryptocurrency predictions of the performance of some cryptocurrencies in the year 2018 did not come to pass. However, since this is the beginning of the year since more forecasts are likely to take place.

In a recent prediction is that given by a co-founder of Union Square Ventures, Fred Wilson. who is also a venture capitalist. In his prediction, he noted that cryptocurrency will bottom at a point this year which will bring back the long-awaited bull run.

    “I expect we will see some bullish runs, followed by selling pressures taking us back to retest the lows. I think this bottoming out process will end sometime in 2019 and we will slowly enter a new bullish phase in crypto.” said wilson

However, it could be observed that Wilson restricted his prediction on crypto bottoming out this year, on past predictions and not on the inflow of institutional investors, more adoption of crypto, better infrastructure in the market as it has been aired around the crypto community.

Wilson added:

    “I think the catalyst for the next bullish phase will come as the result of some of the many promises made in 2017 coming to fruition in 2019″

Considering the interest of many parties in regulating the crypto market, Wilson is mindful that this could strain the market, hence the need for the teams associated with crypto projects to rally around them. Due to the activities of “misguided regulators” Wilson concluded that:

    “The area I am most concerned about are actions brought by misguided regulators who will take aim at high-quality projects and harm them.”
