There are many wallets like Exodus, that support many coins, and they use instant exchanges, to convert assets. They have internal functions that connect, with the exchange, and do the transaction for you. Of course, you can do it manually, but those wallets can to the exchange automatically. There is also an agreement from the wallet providers, to do trading securely.

I never experienced direct trading through wallet. As far as I trade on exchanges, I always put the tokens and coins on sell order and wait till someone buys them. I am surprised if you stated it can trade directly from wallet.

Check out instant exchanges like shapeshift and changelly and see how they work. You put the from and to tokens on the form, and the exchange asks you to send the funds, of the from token, and the receive address of the to token, and that's it.

I would never connect my wallet to an exchange if it is not a DEX. It is very dangerous to connect you wallet with a CEX.

Well, it looks like a crazy implementation for a CEX. I'd never give my private key to a CEX and let my wallet's control to them.

This can be a very useful implementation and I think it's not that complicated, however I think it's a good thing to check first if fees are the same or not.

Its already existing on Ethereum base tokens traded directly on wallet on some P2P platforms and atomic swap is on the way for massive development and ready wider clients used in the future so thats not new to me!

Personally, I have never accessed in that exchange. However, there may be some kinds of this exchange system. Every exchange has the different feature and probably system. However, ensure that the exchange is real and it offer the right coins.

yes there are wallets that supports exchange also.. even in Imtoken you can exchange it directly. but for me its better to transfer my token to exchange rather than risking my full wallet
