No of course not. If ETH will be unsuccessful and price go to 0 think what would happen with crypto ecosystem? All these tokens build on ETH and depend on it will be finished too. I don't think anybody let this happen. I don't know exact figures but there are more tokens on ETH as on any other chain.

No way for ETH to die. There is lots of other cryptocurrencies based in ETH blockchain. It's very stable mechanism However, in my opinion, the future of the market are cryptocurrencies with exchange rate separated from BitCoin. Good example is Nebula Network - decentralized storage cloud based on its own blockchain, with rock stable exchange rate thanks to emission mechanism tied to their supply. Would it be better for invetors if they arent afraid of rate turbulences?
