It's hard to guess which tokens are profitable during the bullish period, now there will be lots of tokens appearing but it really comes with a high risk, if you are right you can double.
I never rely on altcoins for profit because they are not clear except for a few top coins, but if you think the risk is high then this refers to altcoins that are still low, right?
I think what will be profitable is ETH even though the price is already high but the increase will be more than now.

Ethereum is the second of crypto currency, It will follow bitcoin progress.
Maybe not only Ethereum, top 20 coins will have the same chance.

If we compare new coin and old coin, I think old coins are more safe, but the new potential altcoins will more profitable.

In my opinion, I don't think there is really any special difference between investing in old and new tokens because there is a chance that if you invest in new coins, they could still become shitcoins in no time or generate a huge profit if, luckily, they get pumped. I think it will depend on what kind of coin it is. because not all old coins will really be worth it in this bullish era. and likewise not all new coins will be good for bullish preparations for the next era. So, understand and do research first on the coins that we are going to invest in.

Back in the last cycle, I saw a graph that shows how the money flows from high caps to micro caps. The pattern is higher cap altcoins will move first, followed by mid, and then the micros. All coins/tokens with strong fundamentals and have good news lately, can be the best option to buy and hold now. I see some coins/tokens have good development. The projects of those coins/tokens have new products, new partnerships, or new events. If you find out these on them, it is good reason to invest in the coins/tokens.
I suggest to stay away from meme coins, it just relies on the hype and it will be easy to drop significantly. It is better to choose coins/tokens with good fundamentals, don't choose those which have no clear usecase (real functions).

Well, we don't know when will be the bull run start up but we have a lot of time and we can never say this surly by mentioning one time that this will be going up. The token now going may be gown down and the coin is now down in the bull run goes high and high and may be defeated by many other coins so we are not sure about some yeah we can discuss it and make a pridiction. In the market I saw much news about the Shiba Inu they said this would go up in the bull run.
What do you guys think about this?

The more risk they have, I think the more profits you can get from them as compare to the old ones in the market provided that you do proper research not fall into scams because altcoins are very risky investment.
Some old altcoins are though fair in term risk, if you examine them carefully you will see that most of them has been listed on good exchanges like the Binance and Okex which you can trade easily without any problems but they always have this general issues of dump and people holding might actually be waiting for the market come back during bull run so they can sell which usually push pressure on the coin.
The best advice I will give is that you should diversify your portfolio with some top 20 altcoins on the market cap and add some new altcoins too reduce the risk of your investment.

I also reckon with the second advice, reason being is that I have already purchased and kept my original coin which is Bitcoin, I have earning Bitcoin for some time and I have kept a fraction of it just DCAing but this time is just am not actually buying off my money but saving through my earnings from participation in signature campaigns but am well aware of the bull season run for many altcoins and although I know the risk involved I still want to find that specific coin of my own research that I can put some stack of cash in so when it starts pumping I will be on the winning side.

For the safety and security of my funds, I will go with Bitcoin and not some new tokens. To be honest, i would say that what you are asking is like wanting a correct spot on prediction on what the price of bitcoin would be at a given time period, you are I know such things is close to impossible to know, if at all it's even possible.
But then, one thing I know for sure is that, some new altcoins will do or perform really well in the coming bull run, while there are others that won't. And same thing goes for old altcoins as well, some of them in do really well in the coming bull run, while there are others that won't, so, it is not our job or duty respectively speaking, to do a proper research, and try the find those altcoins (be it new or old) that we think will perform very well in the coming bull run and invest in them.

I would say that new is always better as long as it is a new idea. If it is just another blockchain, just another exchange, dex, card, meme coin, p2e project, then I would not expect it to better than any old coin. Old coin has at least a followers base, it is already knows to market, it already had a promotion. For me it does not matter if coin is old or new, the idea behind it is what matters. It might be completely new coin/token, that plans to be a new fast and cheap blockchain, or we have an old projects, who finishes last roadmap milestone or gets listed/released. In conclusion, it is impossible to earn good twice on same idea. You can create second facebook, telegram, coca-cola and etc, and expect it go grow popularity and be demanded.

No one wants to take careless actions just because of the momentary benefits provided by a new but untested coin. I agree, it is better to look for a coin that has been proven to have made a contribution to its holder and usually it has been recognized for a long time and the MC position alone is the best position at CMC or CGK..

If you bought a whole 1 Bitcoin when it was at $20,000 2 years ago then you will at least x5 your money. If you just bought Bitcoin this year, maybe you can get at least x2 of your initial capital assuming that Bitcoin will reach $120,000 this bull run. Altcoins tend to give higher reward compared to Bitcoin, but the risk is greater.

That's my main goal. Accumulating before the bull run, and then selling during the bull run. Others are doing the complete opposite that's why many are losing money because of FOMO.

Both can be profitable in different ways.
New coins can give you more reward than old ones, but the risk is way higher that your capital might go to zero depending on the coin you bought. If you bought an old coin, the risk would be lesser because it has been there for quite some time, and it has lesser chances of it being a scam project. The rewards will be lower as well.

And then we have another set of meme coins like Shiba and Doge, even though that's there very definition, a pure pump and dump coins, still in the previous bull run, they gave us good profits. So it's really hard to see which one will thrive or which one is not. I find it complicated, nearly impossible, to discuss and compare "new coins" of 2024. In fact I cant name anything good. Although I dont follow and monitor market and all projects 24/7, but all altcoins for me looks more strong than new school. What we have now? Retrodrops, layers. I am a bit scared to buy them for large amount and for a long period. As I feel like they going to disappeared or replaced in a year with something new. So far top50 looks better for me. I would better and wait till they achieve what they planned, than search for new altcoin.

Regarding the thread title, I think that it's all about the use of the crypto like it's uses, demands and other stuff that makes the coin wanted by many people either it is new or not. Let's say that there's an old coin but it doesn't have any potential at all right now so it is only useless to begin with and many people will abandon it. All right. I recently looked at the chart of an altcoin like Matic. This is a great coin and at one time, thanks to it, I was able to publish NFT on Raible and OpenSea. But you cant really be able to stop other people on making up some consideration on other projects specially new ones specially that old coins would be having that outdated features
on which those new ones would really be having that much better but we do see that Bitcoin have beaten up this thing due to main community support. It does the job well and
its not really that much needed to make up such changes. The only problem i do see for Bitcoin is into its scalability but in overall it is really just that still fine

I don't think anyone can answer this question clearly. It is very difficult to say which altcoin you will profit from buying. Altcoins are very complicated to guarantee whether the tokens are new or old. Because it doesn't depend on old or new.

Investing in old projects is not always a smart move bud, so I honestly disagree with you.
It is true that investing in old projects, specially the super successful ones are less risky than investing in new projects, but there is something you seem not to understand, and that is the fact that there are several projects that won't even touch their previous all time high in this coming bull run, and for some of them, it's because their tech is outdated, and they no longer drive and enjoy the kind of user base they used to.
So, what I am saying in essence is that, investing in newer projects can be sometimes very risky, intact, it's a risk, but it's one that comes with a very good reward if you do your home work well and choose really quality projects that has a very high potential of succeeding, this is much better, way more profitable than investing in old projects, specially when a bull run is coming.

When we talk about old coins we talk about Bitcoin and ethereum and from what we have seen this two coins has been there for long and has recorded a wonderful growth since it's existence and should not be joked with, there has been great record of loses in new coins a lot of them are created by scammers and when they get a lot of people that has invested there money and the coin has now gain value they withdrawal all there shares there by making the coin to drop in value those who invented on them now loses money and they the creator gains.
There was an incident that happened months back were a music star in Africa created a coin and then announce it on his social media handles and a lot of his fans went on and bought the coin and the coin started again value and before people knew what was happening the music star withdrawed all his coin and the coins value went down, he made a lot of money from it and people that bought the coin lost money.
I will advise we focus in old coins because they are more reliable and has proven to be worth investing your money in over the years.

I still think that we are going to deal better with old ones, while there could be a few good ones out there for new tokens and such, most of them are shit and old coins are at least a bit better, we should be caring about that part. The old ones do not give you a secret, its not hidden, its not surprising, it will not do something that will shock you, it will just do fine and you are going to like it. New ones are very troublesome, %99 of them will do terrible and only very rare ones will shock the world and will do fine, which is why I do not think that we are going to end up with anything nice about them, its a big problem.

Frankly speaking, all altcoins are garbage now. And unfortunately even Litecoin, which was a great way to send cryptocurrency with a low commission. From the coins you mentioned I agree ethereum, BNB and solanan are worth holding while the exchange coins you mentioned MX, KCS I don't have and probably not interested. Old coins for me are always a priority especially if they are always in the top 10 coins on CMC. Bitcoin is an old coin that is always a priority because I also do long term holding.
