Gambling can affect us negatively when is being done excessively, just like alcohol and drugs gambling can stimulate the brain, and it becomes an addiction , it can cause anxiety, stress and depression when it is excess. There's this saying too much of everything is bad , Such statement still implied in gambling. That why one need to have some good principles and to gamble responsibly to prevent one from getting addicted to gambling. Because excessive gambling can cause one getting addicted to gambling which may lead to higher risks. So an individual who's gambling on a regular would have more chances in making more losses than profits. And it may also lead to psychological effects and stuff. So one should mind the way he or she gambles, by gambling responsibly using money you can afford to lose and whenever you don't have such money to gamble, you just have to wait till you have extra cash you can use than using funds that are relevant to you to gamble and endup losing it.

I think that's the main problem, that you can screw up your finances in a very short time. The one who has problems with alcohol or some drugs, usually until he screws up his finances it takes a long time and it is not so much because of what he spends (maybe with the exception of cocaine) as because the addiction affects his job and he can lose it, for example. With gambling you can lose a fortune, a patrimony of generations in a weekend. And even worse, as you say, some people even get into debt after losing everything.

The only effect of excessively gambling I know and I have felt are moments when I felt bored with repeated gambling process. This can be fixed with shortening gambling sessions. Example - I have deposited $20 and want to gamble have a rest and gamble in the evening. Excessive for me is a form of iresponsible gambling or might be some sort of gambling addiction. It is not normal since you are breaking the limits of your gambling activities especially your money, time and effort. This has nothing positive to give but instead a bad habit and negative consequences.

Yes, everything in life should be in moderation like drinking alcohol or gambling. However, it's hard to control when you are into it. And gamblers here will agree with me that it's hard to keep away from gambling even for a day and there are times that we become addicted to it. Of all the kinds of addiction, I rate gambling as the second most dangerous after drug addiction, it harms the mind the body, relationships, and the wealth of the family this is one of the addictions that should be avoided it is hard to get out from this kind of addiction as it will take a lot of time and money to get cured from this addiction.
If you are gambling for fun be sure that you never cross the line and you are educated on the many risk of being addicted to gambling.

The cost of gambling to a personal level can be devastating not only to the gambler himself but also with people around him...and the cost to the society can be staggering as well though this can be harder to measure most especially if stakeholders are just looking at the possible revenues that can be raised. Just as we take medicine when we are sick, there is a certain level of taking that medicine, if we go beyond the certain level and take that medicine, instead of curing the disease, it can make the disease more serious. Gambling is normal and abnormal, as long as we can gamble normally we will not be harmed by gambling or we will not become overly addicted to gambling. You are right, every time we play we should do it with moderation, we should not abuse the game and do an activity like this but with great restraint, in the case of plays that are done Without Control , the person should stop, because they are being seen as A person is probably prone to falling into addiction and that is something that does not look very good, so every time we go to a Place or place we should not put all our money, our capital at risk and take into Consideration many things such as manage our emotions well,

Common mate, this is practically the basis to everything on this planet earth. I like to believe that there is nothing that is being done excessively that doesn't come with a negative effect. Too much of everything is never good and it's goes same for gambling too, infact gambling should the habit that you even practice less because it can turn and come back hunting you.
