In today's Euro match, Slovakia gave me a shock victory as they won the mighty  Belgium 1-0. I never believed with my eyes they scored against Belgium at 7 minutes of play, Belgium never scored back to equalize or win as the most preferred team to win. This is surprising for Belgium to lose the first match of their Euro League tournament this year

Everyone has their own strategy in investing, you are right. it doesn't have to be the same. because they are based on their respective experiences and beliefs in carrying out the execution. There are those who always buy when there is a correction and sell when they have made a profit. There are those who will only hold long-term, and there are those who do daily trading.

Most people don't have any strategy though. And that's why a lot of people tend to lose money on investing/trading, because they act on current emotions.
And that's also how people, who follow good strategies, make their profits, i.e. by unloading on those who FOMO'ed in when the market was red-hot and at it's peak.
You are correct. Many people don't have any strategy for investing in crypto. They invested out of FOMO or when a coin is trending or at its peak as you said. That's why the majority are been caught on the loss side because they invest ignorantly without studying the market movement

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Don't forget to HODL your BTC!

Title.

Whales are going to start selling like last cycle. (If they haven't already.  ::))

Don't fall for the trap. Don't sell unless you absolutely have to!

Bitcoin is freedom. Do not sell your freedom. HODL it until fiat becomes less popular than bitcoin. Give it to your grandkids if you have to. Do not sell your freedom.
Hodl and patience have been the keys to financial freedom in crypto, but that should be done with calculations and wisdom since almost everyone is yielding for profits not losses from their bitcoin investment. However, the crypto market is made up of 4-year circles, comprising the bull run and bearish market. There is nothing bad about buying bitcoin in the bearish market and selling in the bull run. Someone applying such a strategy doesn't make them sell their freedom(which is Bitcoin) rather they are making use of the financial freedom that bitcoin offers in the long run(buy at low price and sell at high price) because no one would hodl their bitcoin forever. It is the demand and supply that makes bitcoin volatile

It will be hard for miners to easily trust Trump on this, no matter how he sugar-coats his political campaign words on crypto. The miners wouldn't dare to leave their area of comfort, to come to the USA where laws or taxes would chase them away.

Miners should stay where they are until we see Trump win the US presidential election, and how his first year to second year of rulership will be towards crypto.

It's unbelievable how people knows that politicians are well known for promise and failed situation of politicians and yet they are strongly wanting him to win especially the cryptocurrency people, I'm not sure if this is their true interest or just some groups of people politically motivating people just for him to win the election at all cost.

If there is a way things can be done before elections, it will really help people from being deceive by this political movement. He was there for good 4 years and never did anything serious about crypto or even the miners but all of a sudden, they became a fan later all because of reelection.
Not only did Trump not do anything serious about crypto, he fought against it by giving a bad impression about it to the whole world. He thought that crypto believers would easily forget and forgive him for that. That's funny.

However, the people of America know what he's up to, they can't give Trump the same opportunity he misused to rule them before. Therefore, Trump shouldn't desist from making blatant campaign promises of crypto that are full of lies

There are no tips or signs that the bearish season will come because no one knows the exact time, we can only guess using the history that Bitcoin has gone through, according to Bitcoin's habits after halving it will begin to form a sign of increase but only slightly and in the following year Bitcoin will make a pattern like a mountain in that year the Altcoin season begins and in the third year it has entered the bearish season until the following year / halving year, this is just looking at market history.
True there is 100 surety that when the bear market will come. But we can predict by basis of some fact like the 4years cycle of bitcoin halving and the bitcoin bull run. If we look at the pasts records then we will see that almost after every four years halving and the bull season happens so we can also assume like that in between these bull run and halving we can find the bear season like after 1.5years of bull season but it is also prediction not 100% guaranted.
Exactly. Nothing is ever guaranteed in crypto. that's why everyone is being advised to invest with their spare money because the crypto is unpredictable and nobody knows when the market will soar in price.

We are just speculating about the market based on what we have learned about its past halving, hoping the same would repeat itself this year and next season. Notwithstanding, this is the time to accumulate more bitcoin if one can

We can't expect much when a coach is appointed when the team is in decline and that's what happened to Pochettino. I don't think it's wise to just blame Pochettino when he didn't take advantage of several matches that ultimately made them lose.

But we also can't close it down, with some of the changes that Pochettino can show, he just hasn't been able to make Chelsea that consistent. We can see when they face a strong team and they can fight back.
If I should say, Pochettino has done nobly in Chelsea by assembling Chelsea team players from scratch to make them appear top 7 positions at the end of the just concluded season. It wasn't an easy job if I must confess. Pochettino has to be given some accolades rather than discredit him.

I believe he will get a new coaching job that will appreciate his hard work

Bitcoin Forum / Re: What's Your Take On It ?

The past two months have not been a positive month for bitcoin prices as most of us must have thought to see bitcoin comfortably scaling through to a price above $70k by now. It is surprising to see that bitcoin is heading sideways down between the price of $65k-$67k. However, any given price position "uptrend or downtrend" seems to be an opportunity for crypto investors to use it to their advantage, believing that whatever price they bought bitcoin, it will soar above the price before the end of this year, pushing them to profits.

Where we are currently in the crypto market is when the weak hands have to be shaken off from the crypto space because of the correlation market going on in the crypto market.

If you have studied the market closely, you would have noticed that the bitcoin price is declining, like altcoins. Some of the newbies like you would like to sell their bitcoin or other altcoins at a loss price to avoid losing out on their bitcoin investments

General Discussion / Re: Any effective eye exercise that really work?

Don't stay too close to your TV set or computer, make sure you always rest your eyes every 20 minutes.

Focus on near and far objects from different angles for some minutes each day.

Sleep early and don't stress your eyes by staying awake all through the night.

Blink your eyes and focus on things in from of you at intervals.

Gambling discussion / Re: Would you sell your Winning Strategy!
« on: June 15, 2024, 11:21:18 PM »

~snip~
and to sum it all up your strategy makes you win 80% of your bets.  would you share the strategy to someone for a price or not?
I will sell what I have mastered in its act not what I haven't and my chances of winning are not up to 50%. Selling what I am not perfect in, is an act of wickedness. I wouldn't dare to do that because if someone should do the same to me, I wouldn't be happy with the person.

I perceived selling my gambling strategy as a wrong move to take since I couldn't get all the predictions right. That makes it better to give my strategy freely to those who want to have the same bet as me but they should have it with little money, not with a big money

Chelsea agreeing to sign Michael Olise from Crystal Palace. Chelsea and Crystal Palace are reaching an agreement on how both parties would come to terms about Michael Olise.

This move by Chelsea management seems to be a good one that will push their frontline to dominate and score more goals since that's what the club wants and the main reason Enzo Maresca was signed to be the new head coach of Chelsea

Gambling discussion / Re: [football] EURO 2024
« on: June 15, 2024, 10:38:57 PM »
Germany being the host country, I drummed my support for them to win the Euro Cup this season. We saw how they mercilessly drilled Scotland with a score of 5-1, owing to the ball possession of 73%. Their next match will be against Hungary, that's another win for them. The winning will continue until the finals. if the god of soccer favors them, they lift it. If he doesn't that's football for us.

It's just that it was really overwhelming, I didn't think the Germans would dominate so much, even so I take my hat off to Toni Kross, I don't know, but if you noticed the moment Kross came on was when Scotland conceded their first goal and the team looked a bit disorganized, it's not that I'm a big Kross fan, but I don't see this type of player in Germany, only him, of course except for Muller who is one of the best in Germany, but even so I think that what Kross does is much greater.
Kross is a great player and a force in football that can't be reckoned with. His impact is always felt in any match he plays in ''club side or country side. I don't why he chose to leave Real Madrid during his prime career in football by resigning from football. I was even surprised that he was going to play for Germany. Who knows whether this year's Euro League matches will be the last match he will represent his country(Germany)? However, I think he will do his best in the field of play, to make sure the Germans lift the Euro Cup
