I mean it wasn't "really" unexpected that Germany won with ease. Ok maybe the score line looks a little bit much because I did expect Germany to win, but I expected like 2-0 or something and not like this, but Germany has that "don't stop until the game ends" type of thing, like scoring seven, or in Bundesliga even, Bayern once scored like 20 goals, other teams all around the world stop, Germany likes just to dominate even further. In the end, we all wagered on an easy win, I wagered that Wirtz would score on top of that too, so that wasn't really a bad thing that he found a goal very early on, it was a very calm game watch as a gambler.

A really good start by the German team. I expected to see both teams playing carefully and defensively and the game ending with like 1-0 for the hosts, but things went completely different.
I think the early goal by Wirts set the tone, and the well-deserved red card at the end of the 1st half was a nail in the coffin for Scotland.
I expected Scotland to do a little better. In the past, they proved they were capable of playing at a high level, but they got completely neutralised yesterday. But at least they managed to sore a goal, despite having zero shots on target.

Who would bet on Spain at odds of 1.92? Already a comfort zone for victory for me there's no way Croatia can get more goals back than Spain but this is a great team in the first half with a big lead.

The second half may see Croatia press more for Spain but I believe Spain can maintain their lead, but it could be that Spain's game doesn't change and they could have another goal fest in the second half.

Spain was unable to score a goal in the second half which means that the croatian coach was tactically able to fix his team in a second half with the changes he made both in substitution and in style of play. Even with this defeat to Croatia, I still do not rule them out of this competition because they can improve massively from this defeat in their second game and further into the competition. 

Italy is currently leading Albania by 2-1 in just the first half, the game is far from over.

Toni Kross is 34 years of age, way past his prime in football even though his quality still shows. He has been in Real Madrid for like 10years in his career, it is normal for him to retire from playing football.

There is no doubt that Kroos is a very great player, his presence in midfield brings calm to the teams he plays for, including his country.

Very bad performance from Croatia, although a little better in the second half, it all looked very bad and now the only question is whether they can change something in their approach to the game. Teams like Spain that play fast football and have super fast counter attacks are always superior to teams that generally play some version of slow football.

As for the second match in the group, Albania was a tough nut for Italy and in the end was very close to equalizing the result. At this moment, I think that Albania has a chance to go to the second round as the best third if Croatia plays the same game as in the first game.

Croatia is included in Group B so it will be more difficult for Croatia they will face quite heavy opponents later like Spain and Italy while this team is the favorite to qualify in the group phase.

Winning duels is key, Spain won many duels in the first half.
Croatia did have a solid late-game push but Croatia's late surge couldn't change the outcome.
Nacho and Cucurella's defensive resilience solidified their win,  especially during crucial phases (61-75 min) when Croatia was on the offensive.
Overall, Spain's efficient finishing and solid defense led them to win
And Croatia must go back to training and try to bounce back immediately in the next game
