So let me sum this up
-2017 ICO scams, lots of FOMO
-2019 DeFi, NFT, a ton of scams, lots of FOMO
-2025 Trump, a meme coin scammer, lots of FOMO

Why would anyone want any of those supercycles again?

Because of profits, of course.

After big FUD, comes big rebounce.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is TRUMP controlling BTC growth?

I don’t think he is powerful enough to control this growth. It’s just that I think you made some efforts, like the Bitcoin reserve, but the problem is that they are not investing money. Maybe somewhere in the future, he could do that, and then a lot of other countries would follow. Maybe, in that sense, it’s a kind of control.

He can only halt the adoption that is taking place.

But he cannot stop it.

Investment is also very good because it can increase the income obtained from investment for needs that are needed at all times.
But I really agree that if you want to invest, you should use unused funds and are available so that you can be more focused, because investment sometimes takes a long time, so it does not interfere with needs that may need to be made.

I agree that investing is good when we can sustain the steady flow of funds toward it, as well as not to convert the funds in the process into the fiat because we have a need to do so.

That way - it may help a person in the long run, that's why we need to think about it carefully and use the funds that we won't need here and now.

Meme coins only become profitable when you are able to buy it at a low price then suddenly it pumps high, that's when you are really profitable,
but if you are wrong about meme coins, your capital will surely burn there, so it's still a good idea at all times.
You are right it is still a good idea but we all should do trading in it only if we have spare amount of money and we can risk to lose it as if we are trading in meme coins with our food money then we might have to sleep without eating and the chances for this are 90% in meme coin trading.

I am not a regular meme coin trader but with some trades in meme coins till now, I have made loss only, in one meme coin trade, I made 8x loss, can you believe it haha.

It's a "Go big or go home" game, and usually, you will lose funds on it no matter the case.

So I agree with the takes above, - no need to gamble your potential capital in memes.

There is no limits or age bracket for children. To me provided they can read and write to know about Bitcoin then fine the better for them to grow more faster with the know of bitcon in them, some may see that it's too early to teach children about Bitcoin without knowing that it's a financial knowledge which they aren't thought in school otherwise the graduates and numbers of people who has passed through could be been extremely wealthy..

Small concepts would turn to big fundamentals eventually. Though I would wait for the child to be a bit more mature, can't say the age exactly, but it would be great to teach the little man about simple concepts that can be told about BTC, to spark the interest, and eventually - passion.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you still believe in Presales?

I think there are still sensible and potential pre-sales if we are just being researching, that's why there are still others who are making a profit from pre-sales, though they will wait a while before it is listed but they are sure that their investments here will not be wasted.

But of course, you still need to be extra careful because I can't deny that most pre-sales are also scams by the developers who are doing this in the crypto space.

Presales are like mine fields - you are either lucky to walk through so many risk factors and win big, or you explode in any of the circumstances that would shatter the situation in one move.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Trump controls the market
« on: April 14, 2025, 08:57:18 AM »
Anything is possible, but the impact isn't due to Trump. Rather, it's due to Bitcoin's low market cap, which makes it susceptible to political changes, and Trump's decisions are a key factor in these political decisions. Reaching $40,000 is unlikely at the moment, but if problems arise, such as a world war or an economic recession, these levels could be seen.

When overall the market and US stocks shake, the crypto market feels the same waves coming to it as well.

Of course, volatility will become less and less of an issue for BTC, but for now, we can't deny that BTC is bound to the sentiment that is brought mainly from the circles that are not crypto.

When investors feel like it, they will pump their liquidity where they see fit, including BTC and others.

^ This magic land is more like the land of witches, not fairies and rainbows ;D But, yeah, I hope OP left some bags of said coin just in case it may pump back.

The point is that money clouds the himan mind.It is like a fost that makes you not yo see how things really are.
I do not introduce BTC to people as an investment, i like to start off by teling them that it is a currency, it is digital money that can be spent. Of course they will learn about its volatility later and how they can make money from it, but first i tell them that it is decentralized money that is not controlled by any third party.

That's great of you to not to spoil people with "BTC is the easy money!" mantra.

Lots of people disregard the values that BTC upholds, and these are the ones that make its value be only more and more appreciated with time.

I still believe that there will be, but not at the shortest time—maybe at the end of the year Q4. I do hope that it will increase, and hopefully, the portfolio that I have at that time will increase in price. I think that’s what we all want, right?

We all want to see a bit of green, and it is not possible without a bit of red.

2025 is a rough year for some, but those patient enough will reap the rewards for staying ahead of others by hodling properly, in my opinion.
