They may be called top ones only due to the number of users and that's it!
If you have a question about Telegram safety how could you choose THESE messengers instead?

Looking for security you have to choose from totally different messengers.

Hadn't heard of it but it will be not surprising.
What they do now is that they ask to take a photo and send them in order to prove it's you..
And it happens after the SMS verification. I don't think they have a right to do that, especially when they always speak about privacy.

There's website called telegramcryptogroups and now I'm just checking them one by one.
Of course it will be easier if someone would recommend something worthy.
