Then again, most newbies probably don't want to run a script like that to begin with. I'll try and use it to see if it breaks Windows whenever it receives an update or something.

Newbies shouldn't even run scripts of any kind, because they can make great damage to your system.

Unless the person understand at least very basic coding, nobody should run scripts at all. You need to read the script and have a small understanding about it before running anything,

The federal police (similar to the EUA FBI) were unable to break the encryption of a protester against the current left-wing government. According to the news, an unsuccessful brute-force attempt using 10 million passwords was made. Without accessing the encrypted device, the PF (federal police) failed to investigate the information requested by the minister of the "supreme" federal court (STF).

This is very interesting.

I am afraid that such situations may lead to regulations over cryptography, which are very bad for privacy and the security of everyone.

If you read the cypherpunk manifesto , Eric Hughes deplore those regulations.

Take a look:

Quote
Cypherpunks deplore regulations on cryptography, for encryption is fundamentally a private act. The act of encryption, in fact, removes information from the public realm. Even laws against cryptography reach only so far as a nation’s border and the arm of its violence. Cryptography will ineluctably spread over the whole globe, and with it the anonymous transactions systems that it makes possible.

While Solana had some good projects, Ethereum is still at the top. Like you, I can't think of any altcoin that can replace Ethereum as a good long term to hold. Solana might be the closest, but not as close as many are thinking. It just became popular because of the meme coin hype around pump.fun.

Yeah, and solana is as far from its All Time High  as ethereum is.
I don't get why everyone is so optimistic about sol and so pessimistic about ethereum... people think so much short term.

4
We'll see. And Ethereum started as a base for the ICO mania, which later turned into a scam. Today, ETH maintains several popular and widely used tokens like USDT. For example, a lot of work is being done on Solana now, there is a high probability that some useful token will be created in that pile.

There is too much hype on solana, but if you look at the charts, its performance isnt that good.

The ATH was 260 in 2021, and it is now about 40% down, just like ETH. Both charts are very similar. Looks almost the same coin (both same time range)

Ok, it had a better perfomance when you look the past year only, but I don't think this means a lot. I look at the long term, and 1y investment is very small period.

I agree that ICO turned into scams, but memecoins are scams just the same...

Some time ago I bought some AI projects. All coins where in ETH blockchain, none in solana (of the ones I was looking for).

I think serious projects are still in eth for the most part... This is one reason I am still holding it. I wouldn't move to solana, specially now that Trump is doing crazy stuff, so American coins doesnt mean a lot anymore.... (IMO)

I think you never looked those coins in the coinmarketcap. You are just repeating what is all over the internet about ethereum bad performance or whatever...
I literally looked myself on Coingecko website and all possible charts, it's the same thing on CoinMarketCap and everywhere else, except maybe in your head  8)

You just trying to find a range where XMR is better than ETH and you did it! The only range where it is better lol
Any other range that you look it will be like waht I said:+ 600-1000% for ETH and -40% XMR.

XMR is stagnant since 2017-2018 cycle.

Unless you are short term trader, you should really click any other button (5Y, MAX, etc) in your images to see a very different picture.

bonus rank will be probably 20% (not final decision yet)

What would that mean exactly?

In my case, would I get mythical rank for becoming an editor?

I received this email recently about ledger nano s becoming obsolete

https://support.ledger.com/article/Ledger-Nano-S-Limitations?redirect=false

In the end , they ask me to upgrade it so I can have full benefits of a custodial wallet, such as ledger recovery (no thanks) and some useless altcoins smartcontracts.

Just keep your old device. It is good and safe.

Ethereum has been bothering me for the past year. At some point, I needed cash and decided to liquidate it. If I remember correctly, it was around $3400 at that point. I was probably lucky in everything because after that, ETH just kept sinking.

I currently have an almost insignificant amount, but I decided not to consider it an option when diversifying my portfolio. Will hold Ethereum only as long as I have to.

I'm pretty sure Ethereum's best days are over, and it will at best stay at the value it has had for the last year.
Does anyone more experienced have any reasons why I might be thinking wrongly?

I still have a large ethereum stash, bought at 300 in 2017.

I sold some for 4k in 2021, and didn't sold anything in the current cycle

I am now considering selling some at 3500 zone ,if it ever comes back.

However,  I don't see a clear replacement for ethereum. Solana looks just a memecoin hub to me, while important projects are still in ethereum chain.

Doing campaigns is very important and gives security

I wouldn't say it increases security, but increases trust and reliability.

Companies with active active campaigns are less likely scam users , as the community will bash them if they scam someone.

Eu procuraria as gringas

Fonte https://companiesmarketcap.com/assets-by-market-cap/

It's understandable for beginners because they may be too naive and not aware of phishing sites, as well as other tricks that scammers use. But if an experienced user falls for phishing, it's usually only due to his or her haste and inattention. In other words, experienced users are most often themselves to blame for the loss of funds, and the only thing left to do is to learn from it.

Generally, before using a new crypto service, you are expected to do your own research on the service to find its domain name, description, and history. Just to make sure you know exactly what you're dealing with. Especially if you're about to send it thousands of dollars in one go. Just saying. :)

This is where phising becomes dangerous. Sometimes you did your research, but you use some other address instead of  mixtum.io and then its gone...

This is why community support in social media, and forums (like this one) are so important. They are good way to double check for customers, to get the correct URL.

And ethereum is not sinking as much as monero. It used to be top 7 coin. Now it is about 30?
Ethereum continues strong at 2nd.
Are you for real?!  :o
It's super easy for everyone to check the charts and see that Monero is up over 103% in one year,  and ethereum is down over 46% in one year.
Ethereum is a sinking ship and everyone is constantly dumping staking rewards and Vitalik foundation is selling.

I think you never looked those coins in the coinmarketcap. You are just repeating what is all over the internet about ethereum bad performance or whatever...

But ethereum was worth $300 in 2017, same as XMR.

XMR is now 260 and ETH is 1800... ETH price was like 6x and monero -40%

And you call eth a sinking ship? lol

New exchange should replace eXch and they should try to do something better in future.

I don't think it will be better.... the new exchange will probably have to comply with regulations in a way eXch didnt.

Maybe not were you leave, but some people are buying Argentina bonds. More everyday. This is why the price is going up since milei joined...

Call it gambling, better, 9.5% in Euro-denominated debt is not investing, is betting  ;)
But anyhow, you know what I meant, one coin has utility as a payment currency, the other is promising returns based on, god knows what Buttercup has in mind now.
It's like comparing silver coins with stocks back in the day before ww1.

Ofc bonds in Europe are much more solid than bonds in Argentina. But you are thinking the wrong way.

Emerging markets pay way higher interest rates. If you had put money in Argentina 2 years ago, you would probably have made more money than investing in cryptocurrencies.

Additionally, Argentina is basically the only country in the world which is trying to reduce government debt instead of increasing it
Europe, specially Germany, already said they will spend much more money than they have. Argentina isn't doing that. It is reducing debts over the years .
