Do you gamble regularly or every day a week or two or three days a week?
Do you still stick with gambling or have you stopped yourself from it?

Seeing my campus friends who gamble online almost every day seems very scary because every day they gamble continuously and ignore their college assignments.
My campus friends who gamble are not just one or two people but more than 3 friends and many even play online gambling on their own smartphones.

I can relate to this. It is more painful when you consider that most college students skip classes because of gambling. Well, I am not surprised that is what addiction is capable of doing to a college gambler. They gamble with money meant for school fees, textbooks, and feeding.

I also don't know if they get money for gambling, but judging from their background, they come from a family with rich parents.
I'm just a village boy who lives under a mountain hill and I refuse things like gambling, lottery, dice because I have to pay for college fees myself.

I don't want to think negatively about them but I admit I didn't know they made money from gambling.
It could be that, as you said, the money was for college fees, or money for food and if it was true that this was done by my friends, I'm sure their parents would definitely be hurt.

It's very true like what you said, especially since I'm just a college student who comes from a village at the bottom of a mountain, so they don't pay any heed to what I say.
I only motivate them so that their coursework is completed on time, I remind them like a best friend so that their grades are good and that gambling can be done again later when their coursework is finished.

It could also be that they often win by gambling online but don't tell us about the winnings and those who gamble often say that they often lose.

Gambling can tell the difference between experienced and inexperienced, regular gambling addicts are newbies and greedy gamblers. And those who are experienced and not prophets do not face losses in gambling. And I am currently a self employed gambler performing regularly but I stop gambling 2-3 days a week as I have proven myself when I am more addicted to gambling. That's when the potential for losses is high, and gambling has seen many individuals lose. Those who lost were at least greedy and regular gamblers.

Those that engage in gambling regularly cannot be in profit because the system was designed to take from those that are hooked. Greedy gamblers too are more likely to lose because they constantly chase their losses which eventually leads to them losing a lot of money. A strategy to mitigate losses just like you mentioned is to cut down the amount of time you engage in it, personally, I prefer to gamble only on Saturdays so I don't end up getting addicted but the thing is it's not only about reducing the time you engage in it you must always endeavour to stake responsibly so you don't end up losing a lot of money

The more a gambler gambles to win, the more likely he is to lose. Gambling can be controlled as much as possible to minimize losses. For those who gamble for fun, making money is not the goal. They can stay away from gambling whenever they want. A gambler should keep in mind that regular or more gambling does not mean that winning is guaranteed. You really knows students inside outside because that's what they gamble for, they never did it for any fun alot of folks claim to be doing with gambling. In my school, many students gamble especially the ones that stays in hostel and do the feeding on their own, when you ask them the purpose of their gambling and they will tell you it's because they want to use the money for feeding and upkeep, this is why many of them gamble on weekend to win good bets.

Some campuses has ban gambling activities because it has make some student loss their way of money, many of them don't want to do other means of business because they see gambling as the best bet and most often, the momentum increases when they see their fellow gambler win recent money from gambling.

Just because I have the leisure and freedom to take risks and make money, I only gamble on the weekends. There's a lot of diversity and profit to be made on weekends, which is why I only gamble on the weekends rather than throughout the week. Since I only bet what I can afford to lose and try not to become addicted, I have made a significant profit from my nearly two months of gambling. This is why I only play on the weekends. There is risk involved in gambling, not fun.

i do think gambling should not be done on weekdays because to me it seems like you have no day job and all you do is gamble which is most of the time does not end well gambling should be done for leisure if you are gambling every day with huge amount you might be dealing with some addiction already by then it also makes sense that there is more people gambling during weekends which boosts more activity and profit by extension

yes there are risks in gambling but i think there still should also be some fun if you take gambling way too seriously you might get too emotional, frustrated and illogical

Unfortunately, Gambling and Betting have such a destructive property - these phenomena advertise themselves very well when they pass from one guy to another in the form of stories. Success stories, easy money. We all dream about it, but unfortunately, only when we stop being teenagers do we understand that this world is full of traps.

I also totally agree with you, chances of winning in gambling are always low and it is totally dependent on luck. The more a gambler gambles the more his addiction to gambling increases, and always remember that the more a gambler gambles the greater the risk. A gambler should always be in control as uncontrolled gambling will only lead to financial losses. So gambling should be considered only as a means of entertainment, otherwise considering it as a source of income will always give negative results.
