why is that bitcoin is rising altcoins fallen?

I have been wondering why bitcoin is rising with speed at this time but at the same time altcoins market is fallen please what do you expect, how do you measure it because I was expecting that altcoins always rise when bitcoin is increasing in value. But do you think there's going to be any altcoins bull run as bitcoin has increased above $10k, if yes what are the possibilities that the bull run will continue if bitcoin also continuous to rise.

This is not about the altcoins. The market depends on how traders reacts to bitcoin's movement. We already know that traders reacts differently everytime there's a bitcoin rally. Some sell alts to ride the btc's rise while some buys alts because the btc rally gives them confidence that the market is recovering.

bitcoin down = altcoins down
bitcoin is stable = altcoins pump

because when something happens to bitcoin, people tend to sell their alts and wait in BTC, when BTC stabilizes they use the money they earn (and low satoshi values of alts) to buy altcoins and then alt pumps come. But we still have time for this.

People convert their altcoins to Bitcoin. I think it is the main reason why altcoins are decreasing while Bitcoin is rising fastly. It is normal since Bitcoin price movement is attracted people currently. I am sure the price of altcoins will increase again when Bitcoin price looks stable.

In my personal opinion, this is one of the nature of altcoins. The altcoins may not always follow the hype of Bitcoin increase. Moreover, recently, Bitcoin price is still fluctuating and it still has high volatility. When the price of BTC is up, then altcoins are down because many investors prefer to sell their altcoins to get BTC. However, when the price of BTC has been more stable at a high rate, the altcoins have a great chance to keep increasing again.

If you check the 2017 bull market everything was different. Bitcoin was leading the market of course but when bitcoin was rising rapidly altcoins were following it, maybe they were not rising as much as bitcoin did but they were increasing their dollar value. However this time we do not see a healthy rise for the altcoins, I think this is a manipulated pump and it is really risky to enter.

I think the reason bitcoin is increasing because they sell altcoins and buy bitcoin, the greater the demand for bitcoin, so the price of bitcoin soars.

In my perspectives, altcoin fall of its price because people was more focused on Bitcoin's promising increasing trend. Big whales  isn't yet diverting to another options. They waited signals prior taking actions for altcoins bullish market.

The USA centered exchanges will delist most of the altcoins due to regulations, so too many American investors converted their altcoins into Bitcoin. This prevents alt rally. In addition, the last alt rally started when BTC dominance was above 70%. I think we still need time.

Oh Wow I found a very good post for now but it can't be likened when the market will change.
But at least the conclusions that are written are useful for others and hope to note this is only his opinion.

some explained this because people are selling their altcons for btc because they see how btc grows. possibly so, although this is not always the case in my opinion. If you follow the USDT wallet for big players, then you will see that these USDT are being converted from the wallets to the stock before the next wave of growth has begun. Subsequently, after these USDT, the btc is being purchased and its capitalization is increasing.

In my understanding, I think many are buying into bitcoin more. Or should I say that they selling off their altcoins to buy into bitcoin. Soon altcoins will pick up the pace

Your right! Bitcoin price is on the rise, But i dont think altcoins price is falling infact most of the altcoins price was also on the rise like ethereum, can you see it was rising also. todays cryptocurrency price rally is very different compare to what happen on 2017-2018 ,
