There are thousands of coins in the crypto market. But I believe on the project not on the ranking because ranking can be manipulated. I understand that there are good coins in the top 50. But after sometime good projects replace them.

Some altcoins are worthy and have value and volume. But many other coins are dead coins failed projects, and also shitcoins.

lots of coin are listed in many exchange, so not easy to count how many coins in market . but we can some idea in cmc listed coin but all coins are not listed in cmc market. many coin i have seen that they are not listed in cmc but tradable in many exchange. so difficult to count actual alt coins in market. thanks.
