In my opinion no altcoins can match Ethereum now specially the launch of Eth 2.0 can greatly fix the present high gas fee and bugs in Ethereum. There are a lot of investors, hunters now waiting for the official day to launch. Ethereum will become more popular and useful.

Not possible! That is my personal opinion because Ethereum is a kind of crypto that has already established in the market and already proven itself on how it survive and made another all time high of price way back on  the year if 2018.

As per me it will be very tough to beat ETH. ETH is the top 2 coin on coinmarketcap from beginning, so you can measure it's potential. Moreover ETH is the most used coin for payment. So it will be impossible for any coin to take ETH place.

In the future it is possible to over take Eth in terms of price and marketcap. However, with regards to totally abolish Eth it will not happen. Xrp before came up to rank 2 and Eth down to rank 3. As we can see now Eth still dominates the altcoins and looks like it will remain as the rank 2.
