Hold is good if we buy coins in small quantities and expect 3 years later the price will increase by more than 100x.
I once held a coin like GreenX in 2018 and hoped the price would double, but the project seems to have closed due to no further updates, luckily I only hold 2000 coins, and since then I trade buying more coins for short term investment .

3 years is talk of the old saying, crypto is now mature than ever and has captured every one attention, an average person already know what Bitcoin and Altcoins are all about and they all want to hold, this fomo can 3x or even 10x depending on the nature of the project. Haven't you see how meme coin is making a common a millionaire in days or weeks.
The reverse of meme coins are bad though.

I completely agree with the author, looking back, I see how I sold my coins for pennies, and a year later they were trading x10, x100, x1000, so HODL is the best tactic for trading cryptocurrency. Someone who has good endurance and patience gets everything.

This is so right actually,Holding is best way to make serious profits,but also investors could use staking while holding. Im currently using DAFI's superstaking and it causes passive earning for me. If BTC stop dominating whole market,it will be a lot better for me. Also i checked coingecko and saw DAFI is trending as the most searched crypto in there. Great news for holders

Everyone learn to hold especially at bear market, little of hodling is done during bull, because that's always the time to make maximum profit and more transaction is also done..what is the purpose of hodling?
It enhance ability to study the market properly and sell to make Maximum profit.

I have no time to do daily trading , I'm so busy at real rile. So I prefer hold for long term investment.

Yes I think so, trading is more profitable than holding for long term investment.
I prefer daily trading than hold  for long term.

The truth about crypto currency is that it is more about hodling, technically, crypto is hodling.

Glad you answered the question again yourself. I have seen plenty of times when people keep talking about HODLing. Yes HODling is a good strategy when you bought from the bottom when the price is really low and if you have the patience to hold, you might turn out to make good profits from it. I will use this chart as a quick example.

From the SS above, any investor that bought SHIB say before the 23 Oct 2021 before the last big pump, and still HODLing till today would have seen about -50% down from their profit recorded during the ATH of SHIB @ about $0.000087, do you think there is a sense in that investment?

I thing, holding has always been the best choice for me. Because I've made the most profit by keeping my coins for a long term for example. Making a lot of profit in a short-term is a really hard thing to do. Even the most experienced investors have big difficulty in doing this because of the high volatility in this market.

Most of my tokens that I have earned by participating in bounty campaigns since 2017 have disappeared from the market or have fallen in price very low. Only a few of them continued to develop and grow in value. Another thing is a coin with a decent capitalization. And then, there are exceptions. In my opinion, it is most optimal to trade cryptocurrencies sometimes, using large periods of growth and decline.

Holding is the best policy to make a good profit but you can not expect a good return if you hold the shit coins profit depends on the coin you held. One of my friends is holding 40 Ethereum from last 2 and a half year now he is in huge profit so patience pays off huge profit to my friend.

Even if many people don't have time to trade but I guess many people have already succeeded in trading. So, trading deserves to consider as well.

You are correct. I do more trading than holding. You can't what the market in their near future and for this reason, I do more short team trading than long time trading.
