I believe that's still ongoing. I read that there's a possible delay in the transfer but the chance for it to happen is still higher IMO[1]. Even if it fails I believe they will look for alternatives quickly to make sure their backline has a good depth. He is very demanding with the physical condition of a player and if he's not right or he sees something that he doesn't like, he scans him. I think that's the problem that you once had with DeBruyne who took him out, but the thing is that he's a character who knows that the Premier League is so great that a reason for weakness means that they'll score a goal, so each coach has his point of view and that's where his style of play comes from. I think that was the reason why he didn't want Messi to go to City.
