I don't think it is a thing with the coach, more with the players. Most Manchester City players have past their prime, and that is why they can no longer deliver the optimum performance of the coach perfectly well as they've been doing for the previous seasons. January is going to be a busy time for Manchester City, but I do not think that they will be able to catch up and still be able to win the Premier League this season.

Amorim is still new, and he will be working continuously on the team till they become very strong and fearful by their opponents. The match was interesting and Manchester Unite played better in the second half, but it was quite unfortunate that they couldn't equalize the 4th goal to draw the match for more hope.

Manchester United did well to even got an equalizer in that match after three goals down, they have been playing poorly and so that match was a very important one for them to show that they’re capable of the task ahead of them. Amorim have not really done well for the team in terms of the expectations they want from him, but I am sure with this great performance in this game, he will be given more support by the fans that he’s a worthy man for the job given to him.

Another sad performance by Man City. I was hoping they would turn things around and win against Villa, but nope, another loss.
They dropped to the 6th place as they got overtaken by Aston Villa and might drop even further when all games of this round are completed.
Assuming Liverpool and Chelsea will win all their outstanding games, Man City will be 15 and 10 points behind them respectively. I think it's fair to say they can wave their chances of defending the championship goodbye.

The problem with Manchester City now is beyond what anyone can really tell, it’s very unbelievable to see them performing poorly in succession, this hasn’t happened since Pep Guardiola took control of the managing role of the team. Manchester City lost in today’s game is a big sign to really bid farewell to the league title because as they get worsen in their performance, they won’t have a chance later to catch up even if they pick up again. ......yes, this match was very tight. even the ball possession was not too far. and Man United's attacks were actually very many, their chances were more, but Tottenham managed to be more optimal in utilizing these opportunities.

It seems like that, it makes sense why this match will always be remembered. As we know that Man United last season was the EFL champion by defeating Man City in the final. And this season, both finalists, both Man City and Man United were defeated by Tottenham. Wow, this could be a very good finalist candidate later. although maybe this won't be that easy. because there are still several other top clubs that will enter the semi-finals. there are still Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle, and Tottenham.

It's not only the lack of optimality from the players, but also the coach, it's a unity. The players can't optimally utilize their opportunities on the field, and the coach, Pep, is unable to manage the squad to be more optimal during the match.

Manchester City is in no way coming close to the top 4 teams, not to talk of winning the Premier League trophy this season. Pep Guardiola and his team of players already know that, and some players will be let go by January for new players.

Manchester City will look into signing new players since the old players "can no longer deliver the optimum performance again". I want to say that if Manchester City successfully sign the new players they want by January, they won't dominate the Premier League again as before because many of the Premier League clubs have found themselves formidable with the kind of quality players they have signed to their team

Although I would have liked to see Manchester City in that kind of difficult position because of how much I felt like the players needed a reality check to understand that the fact that they dominated world football for a while does not mean that it will continue because performance declines with age, I don't think they will get to the position where they cannot even make European qualification.

Pep is experiencing really poor form, the worst in his career. For someone who has always liked to control things and make them perfect, he cannot control this. He will speak softly about managers who are having bad results next time knowing that it can happen to anyone.

Again, Man City got a defeat. It must be a big problem, Guardiola already got too many losses. I'm not sure what is happening exactly. 
If you checked the lineup, you will see De Bruyne and Nathan Ake on the bench. I don't know why these players didn't play in the match. As far as I know they are the key players in the previous seasons. I think there is a problem on the relationship between the players and Guardiola.

He will have to use the winter transfer window to bring in some fresh blood that will help them perform at the expected level again. But if that fails, I think Pep might decide to leave on his own. If the problems with the players mean that their squad is no longer solid? Because what we know is that this has no change where it is like being coached by a new coach even though they are still under Pep Guardiola with the same squad.

Winter transfer should they bring in some players so that Pep Guardiola's needs are met, this could be the reason why Manchester City lost.

It could also be because the opponent already knows their playing pattern, so the opponent can apply a strategy that can stop Manchester City's playing pattern. Because they have been playing the same slow playing pattern for a long time, it will definitely be read too.

It was really a disappointing match for Manchester United as the lost 0:3 to Bournemouth at the old Trafford this evening and their struggling form continue in the league, no body expected this kind of score line because Manchester united where expected to win at home to improve their cause in the league as they try to rebuild and come back to form and be in a good place before the end of the season so they can at least qualify for European competition next season but with this loss it's not a good one for team as they are not in a very good position currently in the league table

Manchester United can surely bounce back I think the first half of the game against Bournemouth was not the best they could offer. Of course we know that Bournemouth are in good run, however this is time for United to prove itself about character and coping to pressure. Perhaps they lack some desire in attack to make much of the opportunity and to exhibit a higher tempo of play. Fans always expect that the players performing on the field have great enthusiasm and confidence, because that is how it got done in critical games. That’s why, with good team cooperation and the need to continue struggling, the desired outcomes are still attainable.

Looks difficult reach the UEFA Europe League or Champion League spot standings in this season for Manchester United if still have consistent performance.
