It all depends on the strategy of your investment, and there are deferent investment options, or probably you are holding for a short time.
Now, if you are investing on a long term basis, I don't think buying coin when it is high a bad idea during a green market.  It is completely depend on what you want to achieve. If are waiting for prices of coin drop before investing, then you are likely not taking an investment opportunity by utilizing the cash at hand. Anything can happen when it comes holding cash without using it.
Again, I think that investing for the long term may not require the price to drop, it may hinder your investment take off and the cash may be used for other purposes rather than investing.
