It's true that a new phase of Eth 2.0 has begun. But of course we can't expect to get the changes right away. Everyone has to wait for this upgrading process to complete and finish. eth 2.0 is what I am most excited about too. now ethereum is a POS (proof of stake) after this upgrade and now everyone can equally gain benefit from ethereum. before that it was being dominated by miners. hopefully when the upgrade finishes the transaction fee will be lower too. and spread will improve as well.

Its first phase of the upgrade has been completed and we are waiting for the 2nd one. After the 2nd upgrade, eth gas fees will be decreased. This will make the ethereum network more scalable. There was a lot of hype about it and it's visible in its current price.

You are right, you are right.  Ethereum 2.0 is the current gas fee and the cost of switching is currently expensive.  So I think there is a possibility of getting better in the future.

Actually it is not much different from you, regarding the very expensive gas costs if network transactions are congested, besides that I also hope that there will be new technology in ETH 2.0 that can audit new projects that will use the platform from ethereum, so as to minimize scam projects.
