What was the last time he mentioned DOGE in any of his tweets though? It's not like he's talking about it forever.

Dogecoin is very popular, and still have large community. But I see there are many friends didn't like this coin, include me..
I just holder, but only top coin except memecoins. I ever bought dogecoin at the past, but for short term while Elon musk support this coin. For now, I didn't buy doge again.

To be fair, rumours are selling much better than facts. So if Musk hinted that DOGE could be added as a payment method, that would have a much better effect on the price than if he actually did that.
Adding DOGE as the payment on its own will not create any additional demand, as no one will be buying DOGE just to pay with it. What drives the price up is the hype.
