Mate your question seems confusing, Bitcoin is not beating the Altcoin market, instead, most altcoins are traded to Bitcoin as its base pair, and because Bitcoin is a dominant cryptocurrency in the market including the Market capitalization thats why, if the bitcoin price is falling, of course, its has also a domino effect on some altcoins because it was a dominant cryptocurrency in the market.
