I remember Manta Network on this one because the ones who got the greatest number of MANTA tokens are the ones that has many referrals - particularly those influencers that has a huge reach in different social media platforms like Twitter and YouTube.

Well, you're right. It's either the ones that has many referrals or those that are whales. Those are the 2 types of people that will get the most out of these airdrops. For us average Joes who are joining to these airdrops, it will not be worth it at all. I joined airdrops for the 1st half of the year, and based on my experience, it's a game of luck. Luck to earn huge amounts for free. Most of the airdrops right now require you to at least put some bucks into their project (through liquidity pool), will do various tasks on Galxe or doing testnets. For me, it isn't worth it at all.

That's something we can do to fill our free time, airdrops are uncertain. Of the many airdrops that exist, many end up being unclear or they cancel the airdrop they promised at the start, or the amount of prizes we receive is not commensurate with what we do.

Work must still be the main priority, in the midst of that we can use airdrops as additional income and even then we must not fully expect that there will be a decent return from the airdrops that we participate in.

The experience of airdrop participants understand well about good airdrop project and never waste moment doing all task or completed quest to eligible with airdrop. Some time many airdrop hunter just doing few task only and when snapshoot moment taking most of them not eligible from limitation points not reach until less transaction for retro airdrop or most of them use sybil wallet detected.
Be careful when working with many account with airdrop regarding some project detect with sybil wallet make transaction each other between one wallet to other wallet.

AFAIK this sybil detection did not exist before I started to join airdrop regularly in January of 2024 and even at that time there were not so many discussions about Sybil detection but as people started to join airdrops from more than normal numbers by this I mean there are the organization who joins airdrops from thousands of accounts and are farming them causing them huge problem are the ones that deserve to be eliminated but they are also smart that they are still able to save themselves from Sybil detection and in my opinion, is a good thing for those who join airdrops with honesty.

I watched a video where an Airdrop influencer was sharing the same idea. We can make money by multiple accounts otherwise it's not profitable anymore to make money by only joining it with one account and especially when you have no referral also.

You are correct here. Being persistent and consistent really pays though. I have had these friends of mine who are airdrop hunters and to be frank, the virtually take part in Airdrops and can tell the airdrops that could be of huge benefit to the Crypto community and they have been up and doing in their airdrops search and work.

I have come to realise that airdrops makes participants to be more farmiliar with blockchains and projects on the Crypto space. It exposes one to lots of Crypto experiences and work's which adds up to knowledge about how some blockchain utilities their mechanism.

It is true that now the number of airdrop enthusiasts seems to be increasing, we can see this from the number of participants taking part in an airdrop project, for example. However, I saw that many of them only registered and then left, but the project still recorded them as participants.

Airdrops are a kind of advertising engagements a project does for the publicity of their projects respectively. Airdrop as also used as incentives for her participants and believe me, Airdrops are somewhat like organisational shares because you would hold it like waiting for the value to appreciate so you could sell it or you use it for the sole purpose it was created for but either way, it still serves many functions very important.

Any airdrops that requires you to pay a fee for withdrawal purposes or otherwise is a scam and have no funds because I see no reasons why one would gather up a community  and then request for them to participate in their project publicity campaign and after that they tell them to get their wallets with a certain amount of Crypto, what for? If they can not be able to pay for gas fee then why gathering people to participate in their airdrop.

     -     In the 2 years I've been here in the crypto space, I've never experienced feedback on airdrops, although I've tried some that I thought would be airdrops, and so far I haven't had any positive news from the ones I've tried up to now.

So, it means this is just a confirmation to me that participating in crypto airdrops is not stable, the risk is high, and at the same time, it is not a good money-making machine. Because the effort and time you spend on it can be wasted, and it can also not be.

You can say this if people do the right things. But if people only waste time doing shit airdrops, I think they are better to move on other things. Do bounties, trading, or investing on trusted coins! There are many other things that can be more profitable to do. I'm not against good airdrops, but I'm just against shit airdrops.

We don't need to follow all airdrops, just be smarter to choose convincing airdrops only.
I think we don't need to be consistent to do worthless airdrops. Just do airdrops which looks like to have potential of good earnings only.
