The only thing I believe in is ETH/BNB/SOL - those are probably the 3 assets I still have faith in.
There is no doubt that you can make short term profits from Bitcoin. However, due to lack of capital many people want to hold altcoins. So if we want to always have the possibility of profit by investing in crypto, then we should buy top coins. The price drops drastically but it is easy for Bitcoin to recover to a higher price. In that case the opposite happens for the altcoins market, whenever altcoins are down for a long time it takes a long time to recover to their higher price. Many altcoins holders hold for months to gain some profit.
I agree with what you said my friend, when someone has little capital they look for coins that are low in price but of good quality in the sense that if it falls it is not too deep like ETH, BNB and SOL coins from all of that they are likely to get big profits.. it's just that bitcoin is superior for us to invest in because if the price falls it recovers quickly and the recovery will exceed the price when it fell, that's where most people choose bitcoin as the best investment in the long term.

There are numerous factors to consider before investing our confidence with an asset, which include among others; price of the asset and it price change history. Among all those options it is possible to have confidence in an asset which proved its worth, etc. Assets that haveuve some type of resource showing the way the said asset performed during volatile periods of the market do offer some measure of reassurance. It is also reasonable to state that gold has strong points here not only because of its high value, but because the historical highs and lows of gold have demonstrated a pretty convincing correlation. If we have to make some decision regarding such aspects, then it is going to be much easier to make calm decisions even when things are not going exactly as planned each time.

The old coins you mentioned are all native coins of major blockchains in the market: ETH, BNB, SOL. You didn't mention other old coins that were also very popular, like NEO, EOS, WAVES ^^

Ultimately, what makes us decide to trust and invest in a token isn't its age, but its potential. Unfortunately, the assessment of a project's potential is subjective, and investors can certainly make mistakes.

Bitcoin is the most popular coin and is in demand by many investors, and if you are in doubt about altcoins, you can buy more bitcoins because I feel that bitcoin is a safe coin and has a bright future and is getting more expensive if we hold it for the long term. However, if you want to diversify, we can buy the top altcoins, as you mentioned BNB, ETH and Solana are the top coins that we can buy.

Yes I understand that a lot of people has that mindset that if they have small money they need to invest on a very small coins with a low value, though is not bad having that mindset but what is important is the security and the certainty of a productive outcome of an investment, so actually I cannot make decisions for anybody who wants that but the only advice is to invest wisely. However I no that the only reason why people think SOL is going to be another big drum is the price it has now, but short term is better for those coins than long term.

Most of us have at one time or the other desired to invest in an asset at a cheap price in the optimism that the price will exuberantly rise in the near future. This may be quite appealing to the idea especially when we think of the short term benefits. However, when we start to think further, there are distinguishing factors concerning safety of an investment. Indeed, analysing coins that are cheap it becomes necessary to pay attention to several factors that affect the value for the coin. In making investments for the stocks there are some trades that are better made thinking of the general picture instead of the risky trades that although they can provide high profits, can also end in high losses. Generally, when investing one must be very careful in order to harvest more yields in the future.

Yes, we know that Bitcoin is the largest currency in the crypto market. More or less everyone involved in the crypto currency market invests in it. If we look at their old blockchain tokens, we buy a lot of Alt Coins like Ethereum, BNB and Solana. But right now, the price of Bitcoin is pumping as much as Ethereum is dumping. And we expect that Ethereum will pump quite well within this 2025.

Everyone wants to buy an asset cheaper than its true potential, rather than cheap compared to the price of other tokens or fiat. If investors are mistaken and choose extremely cheap memecoins, for example 1M tokens = $1, they may face the risk of losing all their assets.

The position of an investment does not only depend on the price of the token, but also on market trends, timing, and the project's potential. For example, currently, EOS is priced very low compared to ETH, but investors would rather buy a small amount of ETH than take a risk with EOS.

Because investors seek stability rather than X's on their investments.

It's obvious that they want their big money to not to waste, but to make some profit in the end, and putting them at risk is no option for them.

Because investors seek stability rather than X's on their investments.

It's obvious that they want their big money to not to waste, but to make some profit in the end, and putting them at risk is no option for them.
It is very important for you to know that big money will not shift aimlessly without timely modelling. This means that big investors are not experimenting. It is for this reason they need to be certain the place where their money is kept has tangible added value as well as value creation capacity. You will also realise that they are actually more cautious than small investors are not because of fear, but because they are conscious of the high cost that a wrong decision would cost. As for now it would be most reasonable to stick with this idea following the contention that when an asset does not promise to shed light on something, then it should not be pressed. While they are not opposed to growth, they also will not risk stability just for the prospects of growth that may not be realised on average. That is why they move strategically when it comes to decision making and risk taking and will take simple steps slowly but will make large steps with more surety.

Here is another thread that has deviated from what the OP posted about compared to what members are posting about now. Regarding believing in old coins, their price is dependent on Bitcoin. When Bitcoin rises the others rise too but there is no way to know whether the greater profits are with the old coins or the new ones backed by social media until the pump starts.

I'm still following this topic and discussing with everyone. Expanding the discussion scope is considered an advantage because it helps everyone move beyond extreme views on old coins and new coins to focus on the value and potential of tokens.

The price increase of BTC is a necessary condition for market growth, but it's not a sufficient condition. We've seen BTC reach a new ATH since 2024, but ETH has been left behind and hasn't been able to reach an ATH in 2025. The market is becoming more complex, and investors need to be more cautious in allocating capital and selecting tokens for their portfolios.
