Do you think it's stupid decision selling cryptocurrency?

Not stupid but they are smart people if you use crypto for daily trading. If for the long term your statement may be very true because in the end they will buy again after they sell

I really don't understand what makes people think that selling cryptocurrency, more especially those in the top 10 is a stupid decision.

Selling a top 10 cryptocurrency will be the right or wrong decision only in relation to a specific situation and a specific market time. Any cryptocurrency, depending on the temporal intensity of supply and demand, is subject to bursts of price activity. It will always be correct to sell some of your cryptocurrencies at temporary peaks in their prices and buy when prices fall. This is the basic rule of every market.

In my opinion, it's all your rights. whether they want to sell it or not is their right. It's just that as much as possible you should be able to read the market situation. Don't sell when the price drops, if at all possible. Because it's a decision which in my opinion is not quite right and definitely brings losses.

Buy, HODL and pray works if you bought BTC in 2009.
Most people know about crypto in 2017, by the time, it has so much liquidity already.

The more stupid are those people that always tell us what to do with our own cryptocurrencies, Who cares if we sell it all there's nothing stupid about it, it's our own cryptocurrency thats why it's our call of what we gonna do with it thats why they don't have the right to call us stupid. sell if the profit is good and don't bother them.

It is never a stupid decision selling any first ten cryptocurrency either in the past, or now . One thing we must understand is that every individuals has some strategies in doing crypto business, and  mr "A" plans will never be the same with me "B" plans. There are those that sold few first 10 coin at a high price, unfortunately those few coins has not attained the prices they were 3years ego. Most coins that has hit  certain prices has not being able to reach such level again, so it is better to sell some of these coin, then buy again and wait for good prices in near future. The crypto business is full of fluctuations that takes to correct to it's all time Prices.

You really must be new in the cryptocurrency jungle. I used to have that mentality of hodling no matter what. Well, now is know better. Selling, sometimes, May be a good strategy. Don't get me wrong or twisted, hodling is good, but it has to be selected, and not all the time

Crypto holder have their own freedom to hold or sell their tokens depends on what the current status and their opinion towards the token. Somehow, emergency is the main reason why sell the token immediately. Not really stupid to sell tokens unless without a valid reason.

Sometimes most of those who sell cryptocurrencies don't want to sell their assets, but for some reason they have to sell their assets, for example for hospital fees or other reasons. As long as you achieve your goal at the moment of selling that crypto, you are clever & successful. Maybe the profit makes you satisfied, maybe you invest in a project that is more profitable, or you simply want to convert crypto assets to fiat for use in life.
Imagine, you sell 1 BTC to invest in a liquid DeFi project, and your assets x100 times after a week. You can use that profit to buy 90 BTC, and create a 10 BTC bounty campaign to share the joy with the whole community In the bounty hunters there may be people who claim you "It's stupid to sell 1 BTC" ^^

For what reason do you think they are stupid? There are several reasons why they sell it:
1. They are day traders and they really have to sell and buy them to get a profit
2. They are investors who have reached the target selling price of the coin
3. They sell it because they have no other way of getting cash and they really need it.
These three things are possible. What is not good are those who are too panicked to panic sell or panic buy in haste.

If they sell their crypto at a higher price than the price when they buy, I think it is a good decision. We don't need to keep the tokens/coins in the wallets forever. I think there is time that we need to sell our crypto tokens/coins. When the time is good and the target price is reached, I think it is no problem to sell them.

Selling crypto depends on your wants and need. If you have the top 10 coins and you are in desperate need for money you did sell for sure. Even if you hold a day will still come you need to selll it.

They have a choice when to sell & when to buy. There's nothing wrong with that. They need money that's why they trade on top coins. It's normal in crypto
