I don't use an Android smartphone, so it's really difficult for me to try installing and using the Coinomize.biz APK. I also don't like using a smartphone when mixing crypto. My laptop provides a larger screen, is more convenient, and makes it easier to control BTC receiving addresses.
I see. So you don't necessarily need to use your Android device to mix your coins. I do run a virtual machine to play some Android games, but I don't think testing on that environment is a good idea since compatibility can be an issue.

but we all understand that fiat is the main tool for money laundering. I hope that in future crypto-friendly governments will stop accusing or attacking mixers, which would be the legal condition for crypto mixers to be able to release apps to reach billions of smartphone users and turn them into potential users when they have a need to mix crypto in crypto era.
I still believe if you want mixer to be widely available, the government will demand a backdoor to access the records of customers easily. I mean, they are trying to crack end-to-end encryption implemented by apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, etc since years ago.

You can't put a backdoor inside a mixer. That makes no sense. The governments don't want to listen in or eavesdrop on communications between the user and the mixer operator, they want to take the whole site down. Although it would make a lot of sense if the mixer operators were survived because they would want to arrest the operators as soon as they seized the servers and shut down the mixer.

Everyone has their own habits. I choose laptops for important tasks like BTC mixing, but I really enjoy reading reviews from people about their experiences using mixers. It's like how I check reviews of new entertainment or creative apps on iOS and Android.

Governments don't like mixers, but it's true that they could totally use it to find traces of criminals. I even think that in the future, governments could create mixers to both make a profit and fight against money laundering. Users would still use them but wouldn't be able to detect that their anonymity had been compromised.

:o
They already have backdoor in most devices, and it's silly to expect government demanding backdoor in any mixers, unless they are operating mixer themselves as honeypot.
Some people speculated this happened before with several mixers they used for collecting more data and transaction information.
There is no proof for that yet but I would not blindly trust any services.

If there is ever a backdoor, then it defeats the purpose of using a mixer in the first place, which is for complete privacy. You only have a false sense of privacy if the government can see all you've just done after using a mixer. Things are better the way they are now, and it is either we have privacy or we don't, there is no middle ground.

I agree. I mean my point is exactly that. Hoping for mixer wide availability is impossible. If they do allow mixer to promote themselves publicly they will definitely have some backdoor access for that. Chainanalysis company is probably doing some work for them already, so it's not surprising if they want to acquire more tools to track our money behind the scene. Some people even go as far as saying that mixers are a government honeypot, which shows that we're in a shaky ground right now in regards to privacy. Fortunately I don't think they can stop people from releasing open-source apps or ToR. CMIIW.

CMIIW.
You're right in everything you said, the fight between privacy seekers and the government is kind of an unending one, because the government would never support privacy, they are pro surveillance and they would do everything they can to see what people are doing with their money at all times.

What we can do is support mixers in any way we can, Coinomize is a great mixer, and their service is helping a lot of bitcoiners maintain their privacy, so, long may it continue.

Governments want to control everything and they don't tend to stop trying. This is repeated when they approach crypto, they want to have all data related to users, to all crypto holders to ensure that their fiat is not threatened by crypto. Money laundering accusations are just a way for them to curb crypto because fiat is the preferred tool for criminals: every USD leaving an ATM can go anywhere without any management or tracking.

However, we have mixers like Coinomize.biz to escape government surveillance, meaning BTC holders can protect their identity from unnecessary risks. Many people are still using Coinomize.biz and accepting to pay Mixing fees 1% - 5% + Network fees 0.0003 BTC, showing that the need for anonymity among users in this market is really big.

That's true. I mean, I remember using a defunct mixer that requires no fee and rely on donations to sustain their services. I remember they earn so many donations that some people question whether they are a honeypot or not. While it's unclear how many users donate to them, the amount is significant. I'd love to see it happen again, though I can understand why having flat or floating fees is good for the business so they don't have to rely on uncertain operating income. Especially when there are so many mixers services nowadays.

I agree with you, i have always asked the same question, if the government are really after money launderers or if they are using that excuse to attack BTC and its privacy solutions, because fraud perpetrated with fiat is still more than that of crypto, but somehow everyone is talking about crypto fraud only. Despite whatever they are doing, i recommend that we use mixers to keep our privacy.

Crypto investor attacks and extortions are a wake-up call for us to pay more attention to anonymity in this market. I don't want others to know my financial situation in real life and in the crypto market. Secrecy is essential to help me maintain clarity in decision-making and also to protect myself and my family from societal risks.

Mixers exist to serve this need from investors, and if there are no restrictions, I recommend everyone use Coinomize.biz to protect themselves from both the government and criminals, especially those criminals hiding among our acquaintances. It's unfortunate when we and our loved ones are kidnapped just because criminals know that we invest in crypto, while we only have less than 1K USD worth of BTC :(

Are you referring to a $5 wrench attack? I don't think using a mixer can help us if our family wants to bash our heads. Are such things common in your area? As far as I'm aware, in my country there are only one or two cases where a criminal killed someone because they have a lot of crypto. They found that because the victim used Instagram and other social media to publish their journey. So yeah, make sure you don't flaunt your wealth and trust exchanges to secure your privacy after you use a mixer to obfuscate your transaction history.

$5 wrench attacks are becoming more popular these days, and everyone should be careful and take their privacy very seriously, keep your mouth shut on how much BTC you have and use mixers as well to keep your privacy.

If you want to spend BTC in your local store, do not spend from an address that holds all of your funds, you can send funds from your cold wallet to Coinomize and from the mixer send to your address for spending on the go, i mean your online wallet.

Governments of all countries strive to maintain their monopoly on the emission of money.
At the same time, government officials did not react to the creation of Bitcoin in 2009. This revolutionary event was outside their focus. Traditional financiers and government officials were too busy eliminating the consequences of the global financial crisis of 2008.
As a result, Bitcoin (decentralized virtual money) appeared and spread throughout the world. At the same time, governments of all countries strive to control all financial flows.
In the modern world, this (unfortunately) leads to the fact that people's money no longer belongs to them completely. And it is very good that there is such an effective financial instrument of freedom as Coinomize.biz.
After all, people should be the owners of their money.
