I think we have to live with that, centralized governments will never like privacy nor decentralization, they want to be in control and also be able to monitor people's finances. BTC used with mixers reduces their interference in people's finances, so they would not stop fighting privacy solutions. However, i believe at everytime we will surely have a mixer to use, like we are doing with Coinomize.biz now.

I don't like how the government is always after the mixers and wants to hunt them down. But the government has a reason. Even though I support the mixers operating and do not like any interruptions, There is a reason why the government is against the mixers. I believe you know about the million-dollar hack on the internet, which often happens. The criminals use these mixers to clean their coins, and the mixer becomes a great tool for them.

We average users use it just for privacy reasons. However, some whales and criminals use such a service as a tool to make it impossible for them to track their money. I guess people have heard about a recent Casino hot wallet hack. The hacker deposited the money into Kucoin, and I guess the fund has already been frozen. The hacker could have used one of these mixer tools.

Exactly. Government hate anything privacy in the crypto space. They like to control the finance system and ask the agent in charge of the finance to tax the customers by deducting weekly and monthly. There are some commercial banks in my country have been accused of scamming customers because of the way they are deducting customers funds. And this will lead to protest one day. But as it foe now BTC work with fiat because we can't use bitcoin without fiat. When want to buy and pay goods, we transfer it to centralized exchange and sell the BTC before using it so there is no need for the government to panic.

But I don't know how the Trump Government will be concerning mixers existence in the crypto space.

Right now, when you create a ticket, there doesn't seem to be a reference link for you to jump to in the browser. If this sort of feature can be created, that would be great.

What do you mean? Why e-mail address? You don't need an e-mail address for Coinomize.  We never contact anyone by email! For privacy reasons alone. After creating a ticket you will be forwarded to your ticket with your ID and through this unique link you can access your ticket at any time from anywhere.

What should I do in this case? Maybe I should attempt to create another ticket, but from a browser without extensions? Like Tor Browser for example? <So that I see if it's the adblocker that's interfering with things>

I don't know if what I am thinking is true. Bitcoin transaction can be traced unless you used mixer. Like example. You send bitcoin from Bluewallet or Electrum wallet to your exchange and you sell it off from the exchange. Government can trace the transaction from those non custodial wallets to your exchange and we know that centralized exchanges are fully KYC registered. So from there your identity can be revealed to the government if the exchange and government agreed. 

This has happened in Nigeria when Nigerian Government arrested two Binance officials because of the manipulation of the National Currency in the exchange to inflate the price of the Fiat/$. And the government asked Binance to reveal all the users but Binance refused. And Binance finally left the country with their services. So and if other countries also pressure Binance on that and when they see that it will affect their operations, then they will reveal to save their work. And that is why government were fighting to ban mixers  but looking at it, this days it is not like before again. I believed from next year, more mixers will emerge.

Naturally speaking privacy is with man from the beginning, every individual, groups, organizations and countries has certain things they kept secret for reasons best known to them.
Moreover, every business has it own secret, and even science and technology has it own too. All this secrets becomes necessary because of the unknown enemy, and despite the fact that bad actors took advantage of the crypto  popularity, came in unexpectedly to abuse the privilege of the crypto good intentions especially the opportunity of a financial freedom.

the thing is people tend to generalize things too quickly and totally forgets about the benefits it gives as well mixers are just for extra privacy which has nothing inherently wrong with being in crypto space we should know that privacy is one of the biggest priorities of a lot of us that is literally the foundation of cryptocurrency decentralization and privatization so it’s a bit foolish to prevent the use of mixers when it just enhances the privacy that we swore to protect

and like you said every tool can be used for illegal purposes it depends on the person itself but this shouldn’t be enough reason for the rest of us who don’t use said tool for illegal purposes to not have access to such services

That was well said. It is understandable why governments are after mixers. Due to their nature, mixers cannot really stop providing service to some specific people, so criminals use them. I guess all the mixers know this fact, and they have nothing to do. because that will make them untrustworthy. So mixers let users use their tools knowing the risk.

As I said before, we have to live with that. While we can complain that we want our privacy and the government should not run after the mixers, it is understandable why they are chasing them down. The mixers are aware of these things, and I believe they have a backup for any situation.

I don't think the government cares about that,t to be honest. They operate because anything that can be abused needs to be controlled by them. Hence why they tried so hard to get a backdoor on privacy-focused tools unless they use themselves, like ToR. I read news related to how they wanted to force WhatsApp, Telegram, etc to allow them to decrypt users' messages, so it's no surprise they want to ban or control mixers. It's all good if their intent is genuinely helpful for the people, but sadly that's not always the case and we can't verify something intangible.

You are correct, you can use a mixer and immediately deanonymize yourself, i.e. it is always recommended to receive your mixed funds in a fresh address that has has not been used by you before. Mixing your coins and then depositing it into a custodial or kyc service kind of defeats the purpose of using the mixer in the first place.

Exactly. You are correct but it is the centralized exchanges that easy to use and price friendly and Decentralized Exchanges are not. As you said if really someone like privacy, he or she should not use one address to receive coins and always change the address. And electrum has that feature of changing bitcoin addresses. And the don't think decentralized and centralized exchanges have that feature of changing address and that was why I recommend the mixer as the best option for sending to the exchanges. But you know that reusing of address is the most common practice for many users, mostly in this forum. Those who are participating in campaign.

In my opinion privacy shouldn't be attacked at all, because we may not be able to emphasize all the reasons while many people, organizations, companies etc keep certain things private.
We can't over emphasized or under emphasis the reasons for anonymity especially on the areas of financial dealing within people or the general public.
However, one of the commonest reasons to make financial transactions anonymous is because of the unknown enemy.
Again, the government can not ban the internet, neither can they ban peoples used of their privacy. whatever that comes out of the internet can be managed to the best of their ability.
